Tamworth vs Spennymoor: League leaders to shine at home
England, National League North, January 27th, 15:00 (UK)
Tamworth are running away with the National League North title at present and it’s no thanks to their fantastic home form.
They’ve collected 33 points from 14 matches, scoring 30 goals and conceding just eight. Having secured five home wins on the bounce, they welcome an out of form Spennymoor Town side who have seemingly lost their way.
With just one point from their last four matches, Spennymoor continue to slide down the table. Even more concerning is their away form, having lost their last three conceding 10 goals in the process.
That’s now ten matches in all competitions without a win for the visitors, who’s 1-0 win against Kings Lynn back at the beginning of November is a distant memory.
Kyle Finn has been Tamworth’s main man in front of goal, who currently has 12 league goals to his name and he’ll be their outlet once more on Saturday. Expect Finn to fire Tamworth to victory and potentially add another brace to his impressive tally.

Celta Vigo vs Girona: Can Celta stop the rot? Unlikely
Spain, La Liga, January 28th, 13:00 (UK)
Celta Vigo’s torrid season continued when they were knocked out of the Copa Del Rey by Real Sociedad last weekend. They are just two points above the relegation zone and their home form has been appalling. They earned a 1-1 draw in this fixture last season but they have regressed even further from last season’s 13th place finish.
Girona were 10th last season but are a title contender in this campaign. They are one point ahead of Real Madrid coming into this weekend. Carlo Ancelotti’s side has a game in hand over Michel’s side, so they can’t afford any slip-ups.
Rafael Benitez has struggled to get a tune out of this Celta Vigo side. They have won just two of their 11 home games in the league this season and are averaging just 0.73 goals in those matches. They face a side that are scoring goals in abundance.
Girona have scored the most goals in La Liga with an average of 2.43 per game. This drops to 2.1 in their matches on the road, but they boast an exceptional away record. Michel’s side have won seven of their ten away matches and drawn three. We can back them to pick up all three points here at odds of 2.55.

Lausanne Ouchy vs Winterthur: Goals On The Menu This Saturday Evening
Switzerland, Super League, January 27th, 17:00 (UK)
The Swiss Super League is where I’m heading this weekend for my pick in the Expert’s Acca. Lausanne Ouchy hosts Winterthur on Saturday evening in what should be an entertaining contest.
Ricardo Dionisio’s side are bottom of the table. They’ve earned a lowly 14 points from 19 outings this term. Only their upcoming opponents have shipped more goals than their 40 in 23/24. They’re somewhat useful in finding the back of the net themselves. Lausanne have scored 22 times in total.
Winterthur is a fun side. They’re often involved in thrillers. Patrick Rahmem’s men have seen a whopping 71 goals in their opening 18 matches this campaign, an impressive 3.94 per 90. Away from home, the average rises. It’s 45 goals in nine road trips, which has seen them score 18 and ship 27 at the other end.
Six matches from nine at this venue have witnessed at least three goals, Lausanne are yet to keep a clean sheet here, and I only expect that trend to continue in this clash.
BTTS has landed in all nine away days for Winterthur, eight of those nine matches have seen at least three strikes.
With these sides managing just three clean sheets between them in 37 top-flight matches this season, you can’t trust either to keep a shutout. The reverse fixture saw three goals, and I expect at least another three here with both sides contributing.

Fiorentina vs Inter: Winners in Saudi Arabia, but second at home
Italy, Serie A, January 28th, 19:45 (UK)
Fresh from their victory in the SuperCoppa in Riyad, Inter might find themselves four points behind Juventus and obliged to get a result in Firenze.
The Neroazzurri have got a match in hand (against Atalanta) and next week will host Juve in what looks like a Scudetto showdown. Inter have been, by far, the best team in Italy, but the next three weeks, before the Champions League returns, will decide their destiny in Serie A.
Simone Inzaghi’s men deservedly won the SuperCoppa beating Lazio and Napoli, during two different games, that highlighted Inter’s different virtues: confidence, technical abilities but also resilience.
On Sunday though they’ll be without Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Nicolò Barella (both suspended), and face Fiorentina who, once again, missed a lot of chances against Napoli and were punished by their usual defensive mistakes.
But La Viola have had more time to prepare for this match and at home have only lost two games this season. The major issue for Vincenzo Italiano at the moment is the lack of cutting edge, since Nico Gonzalez has been sidelined due to injury the goals have dried up: they’ve only scored six times in the last eight games.
Inter are unbeaten this season away from home, where they kept seven clean sheets and played seven matches that have produced less than three goals.
