While Ruusuvuori plays a more aggressive, error-prone brand of tennis, Ymer doesn’t possess any overwhelming weapon in his arsenal, but plays an incredibly consistent brand of tennis from the baseline.
Now with wins as an underdog over the consistent Andy Murray and more mercurial Aslan Karatsev, Ymer will look to make it three wins from three matches as the outsider in the betting markets.
He should have a good chance to do so as well, considering Ruusuvuori is well known for playing incredible tennis one match, only to find it hard to put more than two or three balls in play each rally in the next.
With strong rally tolerance, the ability to play in tough, humid conditions and strong shotmaking skills while on the run, Ymer is well-equipped to provide his Finnish opponent with a stern test.

While normally I’d be inclined to back the over in this type of stylistic contrast, Ruusuvuori seems more likely to either win this one easily if he’s able to play with the rally tolerance he exhibited against Hubert Hurkacz (something he’s struggled to do for consecutive matches), or be too error-prone to win enough games as a favourite.
As a result, the underdog to win here seems a bit better value – especially with the Swede coming in at such high odds.
If Ymer can use his ball retrieval skills and consistency to force Ruusuvuori to play prolonged rallies on a regular basis and find a few winners using his ability to hit some incredible shots on the run, he has all the chance to pull off his third upset in as many days.
