Vancouver Canucks vs NY Rangers Best Bet: Wednesday, February 15th
Our resident hockey expert Ej Garr is on quite a tear of winning results, and he’s once again going to preview a Rangers game while putting another plus-money offer on the table. The Mayor of Value City has earned his name, so let’s see what goodies he’s got for us on Wednesday.

The New York Rangers are headed to the Great Northwest for three games against Western Conference opponents. This 4-game road trip has already started with a resounding win over Carolina last Saturday, 6 – 2. With a few days off to regroup, the Rangers are well-rested as they adjust to the line changes from Coach Galant.
As you know, I don’t miss a puck drop when the Rangers game is on, and how about the move Coach Gallant made on Saturday against Carolina? As the second period got underway against the Canes, Carolina took a 2 – 1 lead, and out of nowhere, Coach Gallant had a light bulb turn on in his head.
Artemi Panarin was moved from the first line and his spot was given to Vladi Tarasenko on the wing. While some players might put their heads down and pout about being seemingly demoted, Panarin responded with one hell of an effort. Panarin scored the final goal of the second period as the Canes and Rangers went to the last period tied at 2 – 2. He then went off and scored a natural hat trick while adding a fourth goal to make it 6 – 2 with just over a minute left in the match.
The Rangers scored all 4 goals in the period, and Kaapo Kakko added an empty netter to reach his career-best 11 tallies for the campaign. In year 4 with the Blue Shirts, Kappo has earned 28 points which is also the most productive season yet and there is plenty of time to add to those numbers.
Vinny Trochek and Panarin will likely man the second line again tonight, while the first team will consist of Krieder, Zibanejad, and Tarasenko. So far, so good, so I doubt that Coach Gallant will mess with that again too soon.
Jaro Halak picked up his 7th straight win in the Blue Shirts uniform against Carolina, and the Rangers, and it helped the Rangers extend their point streak on the road to 7 games as well. In addition, the Rangers have won their last 5 games and have earned points in their last 7 games overall.
If you followed my NHL articles last week, you know went undefeated with Rangers’ plays and I think I found a gem for this contest. Marathon is offering a 2.08 line on the Both Teams to Score + Rangers Win. I know, I think my jaw is still healing from the slamming ot made on the floor with that kind of value behind it.

Panarin impressed the hell out of me on Saturday taking the second shift to new heights with his four-goal effort. The Rangers limited the Canes to only 4 shots on goal the entire third period, and if you know anything about the Canes, they shoot, shoot, and put rubber on the net all night.
With the simplicity of only needed a measly 2 – 1 Rangers win, that 2.08 offer is so full of value I cannot even stand it.
- Selection: Both Teams to Score + Rangers Win
