NHL Picks for Friday, November 24th: 6.81 Odds NHL Parlay for Black Friday
After dunking home his NCAA Basketball combo on Thanksgiving, our resident U.S. sports expert Ej Garr is out to cash another NHL parlay on Friday night to end the week. He has already smashed home an NHL Trixie this week, so your Holiday shopping budget should look nice this season!
It is Black Friday, and 30 of the 32 NHL teams are skating tonight filling the schedule with pucks being dropped all around the league. Ej has a pair of totals and a Moneyline offer to arrive at his NHL Friday Night Parlay, and the potential 6.81 payout is outstanding!
- St. Louis Blues vs Nashville Predators: Blues Moneyline
- Dallas Stars vs Calgary Flames: Over 6 OT-Incl
- Seattle Kraken vs Vancouver Canucks: Over 6.5 OT-Incl
NHL Friday Night Parlay Odds: 6.81

ST. LOUIS BLUES VS NASHVILLE PREDATORS: A WIN FOR THE HOME TEAM
It’s time to bash out another NHL parlay, and I will start with the match in St. Louis as I expect the home team to earn two points on Friday night. The Blues have done most of their damage this season in this building, sporting a 6 – 2 record on home ice to start the season.
I am glad that the Blues picked up the pieces from their loss to San Jose and Los Angeles because that loss to the Sharks left everyone’s head shaking. San Jose is simply playing miserable hockey in 2023, and St. Louis had no right getting thumped by the Sharks. I get the loss to LA because the Kings are playing stellar hockey right now, and I hope you read my NHL Futures article before the season got underway.
I have been updating the odds to win the Stanley Cup every two weeks to highlight how the lines shift as the season progresses, and I warned everyone that the Kings would make a great dark horse play to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup in 2024.
Anyway, as you likely know, we pushed the Over 6 on Wednesday night with Nashville, and we cashed the Over with the Nashville Colorado game on Monday night when he hit that 3-game parlay.
I foresee another high-scoring game here, and I see the Blues coming away with a 4 – 3 win at home on Black Friday. Six of the last eight meetings between these two teams have seen no less than seven goals, and I expect yet another total to hit on Friday night here in St. Louis.
Since the Over 6 is listed at 1.87 with OT-Included, I will use the Blues Moneyline offer at 1.91 for the NHL Friday Night Parlay, and suggest you lean on that total to topple that number.
DALLAS STARS VS CALGARY FLAMES: LAMPS WILL BE LIT IN TEXAS
That was a strange game with Dallas on Wednesday night, and that 2 – 1 loss to Vegas cost us our Parlay as a result. However, that is not about to make me shy away from this total because you also know we have played the Flames Over all week!
I put that Over on the table with Seattle on Monday night, and we converted that into a 3 – 0 Parlay after the 4 – 3 Flames win in overtime against the Kraken. We pushed that 6 as I mentioned above with Nashville on Wednesday night, and all I can envision here is a 5 – 4 game transpiring.
The last five times these two teams have met, it’s been a one-goal game and goals have been the order from the menu more often than not. Dallas beat Calgary 4 – 3 on November 1 in the first meeting of the season, and I will take that again if I have to. The last six times these two have played in this building, the Over has been the money bet.
Calgary has allowed 67 goals through 19 games, and Jacob Markstrom is showing as the expected starting goaltender for the Flames tonight. Markstrom sports a 3.09 GAA and the Flames overall allow 3.4 GPG, ranking them 22nd in the NHL.
Dallas will rebound from being stumped by Vegas last time on the ice, and expect this to be a high-scoring game again when these two get together.
SEATTLE KRAKEN VS VANCOUVER CANUCKS: THAT’S NOT A FOG HORN!
Seattle Over or Vancouver Over? Which one would you like? How about one on the same night when these two teams take the ice? Both teams have just been producing goals like clockwork in 2023, and as you can see the Canucks Over is 13 – 5 through their first 18 games of the campaign.
I saw what Seattle did to San Jose on Wednesday night, and what a beat-down that was! Seattle put that game away in 20 minutes, and the 4 – 0 first-period lead turned into a 7 – 1 thumping of the Sharks.
I have been suggesting Seattle totals around this place as often as I can because it’s hard to not expect a 4 – 3 game to break out with the Kraken no matter who they are up against. Good teams score on them, bad teams score on them, and this Kraken defense now has to deal with the #1 scoring team in Hockey tonight.
The Canucks are the best team in the league that puts up 4 goals a night, and it’s why they are in second place in their division standings. There is no way we are leaving a Seattle vs. Vancouver total off the board on Black Friday, and I am fine with the line of 1.87 at Bet365. I don’t see the straight 7 there, but Pinnacle and William Hill show me a 2.25 on that Over 7, by the way.
Pick your poison when it comes to this total, but for this combo, I am paying the marginal juice of 1,87 to keep the Over 6.5 in the NHL Friday Night Parlay. Seattle’s defense may rank 25th with 2.9 GPG, but those 3 goals are all I am asking for here. The Kraken have scored at least 3 goals in all 5 of their last 5 games, so we just need them to stay consistent. I see the Nucks’ defense ranks high in plenty of defensive categories, but this game should be wide-open and full of opportunities to score.
When 3 – 3 hits the board, we can finalize this week with a statement, and I hope you get your hands on my NCAA Football Week 13 article for Saturday. That will be up on Friday morning so after you hit this parlay, go attack my Saturday NCAA Football parlay because it’s your money and the Holidays are better with more cash!
