NHL Picks for Friday, November 10: 8.60 Friday Night NHL Parlay
Our resident pucks pundit Ej Garr didn’t suffer a single loss on Tuesday with his NHL Parlay, and he is back to end the week with a Trixie of NHL winners on Friday night. To put a stamp on the week, Ej has prepared an 8.60-odds NHL Friday Night Parlay.
A 3-game combo filled with one underdog, a Moneyline home team, and a total, Ej has his boots laced and the Zamboni has cleared the ice so let’s drop the damn puck!
- Calgary Flames vs Toronto Maple Leafs: Flames Moneyline
- Anaheim Ducks vs Philadelphia Flyers: Ducks Moneyline
- Vegas Golden Knights vs San Jose Sharks: Over 6.5 OT-Included
NHL Friday Night Parlay Odds: 8.60

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS VS CALGARY FLAMES: A LIVE DOG ON FIRE
Our first leg of the parlay will feature the Calgary Flames vs Toronto Maple Leafs game. Le Flame caught a struggling Leafs team at the right time for me to think they could skate into Scotiabank Arena and leave it with a W.
The Leafs are playing their fourth of a 5-game home stand, and they’ve allowed 17 goals to their first three opponents thus far. The Sabres and Senators both marched into town and dumped 6 goals on the Leafs resulting in home losses, and it took a crazy comeback against the Lightning to win a 6 – 5 game on Overtime.
Tampa jumped out to a 4 – 1 1st-period lead in that game, and within the first 2 minutes of the 3rd period, the Leafs were up 5 – 4 before allowing the game-tying goal with just over 2 minutes to play in regulation.
It was quite a game and I know because I watched it all happen and if you would like to check my tracker I had that Over on my board.
I see this as a 5 – 4 game and a Flames win on the road to leave the Leafs at 2 – 2 on the home stand with Vancouver coming in on the 11th. At 2.35, the Flames have won their last two games while scoring 10 combined goals against Seattle and Nashville, and I see five more coming tonight.
Even if it takes overtime and a 4 – 4 regulation ending, the final result will see Le Flame escaping with both points from this contest on Friday night. Play the total accordingly!!
ANAHEIM DUCKS VS PHILADELPHIA FLYERS: POUNDING ON THE POND
We move on to the Anaheim Ducks vs Philadelphia Flyers match-up. The Anaheim Ducks are playing their fourth of five straight home games during this stand at the Pond, and after finding wins against Arizona and Vegas they just lost game #3 of the home stand to the Penguins, 2 – 0.
If you follow the NHL totals as you damn well know I do, that Penguins-Ducks game was the first time that a straight 7 was issued on a Ducks total all year. Notice… Line setters set you up for a high-scoring affair, you lose if you bought into it!
If you also didn’t notice what’s been happening in the NHL lately, these Ducks had won their last six games before the 2 – 0 loss to the Penguins, and yet Pittsburgh was one of those victims in that 6-game win streak.
If you also didn’t notice, the Ducks’ defense is playing rather well, we all know that defense can win games in the NHL, and you don’t need to wait until the playoffs to start making it a big reality.
I did say that Pittsburgh only scored twice against the Ducks a couple of days ago, and that is still impressive to take into consideration. These Ducks also held Vegas to only a pair of goals this past week, and the Flyers’ offense needs a ton of work.
The Man-Advantage situations have been a full-blown disaster for the 31st-ranked Flyers Power Play, but the Flyers also do have the 2nd-ranked defense that only allows 26 shots a game.
This should be a 3 – 2 home win for the Ducks, and I think we have to settle for eh 1.83 marginal juice in this 3-Game NHL Friday Night Parlay.
VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS VS SAN JOSE SHARKS: A BEATDOWN OF A GREAT WHITE
We finish off our 3-leg parlay with the Vegas Golden Knights vs San Jose Sharks game and a Totals bet. The pissed-off Knights return home in a bad mood after losing back-to-back games, and they hadn’t even lost a single one until this week. On Sunday, those Mighty Ducks, oh sorry, they are just the Ducks now, but they were plenty mighty in handing the Knights their first outright loss of the season, 4 – 2.
The Blackhawks did win their game against Vegas in Overtime, but Anaheim was the official first L in that column, and then the Kings came into town all kinds of hot! Oh, I think someone had you on those Kings during their 4 – 0 road trip, by the way!
Anyway, I think the welcoming of the Sharks to the desert when they have so much to prove now, makes that the perfect remedy for a bad taste in your mouth. San Jose ranks 32nd in the NHL allowing 4.6 GPG, and Vegas might have almost all of that when the first period ends. I honestly believe that the Knights are going to jump all over this sorry Sharks team to help us cash an even money ticket on the OVer 6.5 with included.
In addition, here in the States, we have 888Sport, and I assume you all have access to that bookmaker wherever you may be. They are giving me odds of 4.00 for the -1.5 1st-period handicap with the Knights at home.
In case you didn’t see any recent scores flash by in the NHL, you missed both the Canucks and Penguins scoring a couple of goals against the Sharks to start the month of November, You know, the 10 goals they allowed to both of them?
I said 10 goals allowed in an NHL game, not just once but in back-to-back games to open the month. Now we need 7 somehow to cash this ticket, and that makes me drop my favel and say… SOLD!
