The Columbus Blue Jackets will play host to the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night, and our resident pucks pundit Ej Garr is preparing for goals to be scored. Oh, the man is not just settling for your primary total tonight, so buckle up for a sweet line (or 2) that will make you smile on this Hump Day!

As I apologize for the Monday play that fell one goal short, we move on to Wednesday and if any match has a chance of producing some goal-scoring, this would be the one. Naturally, no one wants to be late to the good parties in town, because if you have been following Sabres results lately you are enjoying a fiesta of goals seemingly every night.

In 7 of the last 8 Sabres affairs there have been no less than 7 goals scored, and the last 4 times they’ve taken the ice there hasn’t been less than a 9-goal game taking place entering tonight’s road game. The reason I say I hope we’re not late to the party is that I just hope this barrage of goals that are being scored holds true so we can take advantage of it again. I am one to ride these types of trends when they are happening, even though Columbus isn’t exactly scoring a ton themselves of late.

I think that would be the only issue we could face playing the tip I am suggesting here, and oh, we are not playing around with this total tonight. Over 6 and Over 6.5? Yeah, stop it, listen to the Mayor of Value City because we’re getting paid tonight!

The Over 7 with OT-Included is listed at 2.50 if you are using BWin, and I assume you will get a reasonably similar line in the morning when you see this posted. The Over 7 has so much more value worth chasing when we are seeing Buffalo score while having zero ability to want to bother slowing anyone down either.

You score and then we’ll respond, okay? That will get us to 1 – 1, at least, after the opening frame, and guess what? Both Teams to Score in period 1 are being offered at 2.45 if you are a 10Bet member! That’s just #Money!
Then, when Columbus scores early in the 2nd to make it 2 – 1, they will let Buffalo score twice so the Jackets can tie it at 3 – 3 in a few minutes for us all. I am predicting that the 2nd period in Columbus on Wednesday night is going to see a 4-goal session, and the first team to make it 4 – 3 before the mid-way point of the final frame is going to put us in a position to be holding a 2.45 from the 1st period and holding another 2.45 on the Over 7 with it!

The Sabres’ total Over is 19-7 from their last 26 games vs. the Metropolitan Division, and the Jackets’ Over is 44-19-4 in their last 67 games played in this building.There are plenty of trends pointing toward this over, so again, let’s just hope they keep up the pace and knock some pucks into the net again tonight, early and often!
