Colorado Avalanche vs Seattle Kraken Best Bet: Seattle Value on the Road
Colorado Avalanche vs Seattle Kraken Best Bet: Wednesday, April 26th
The Avalanche and Kraken are locked up with two wins apiece in the first round of the NHL Playoffs, which now turns the series into a best-of-3 scenario. Each team has split a pair of home games but the Avs will get two home games to play if the series goes toward a seventh game. Our resident pucks expert Ej Garr dished out a 2.71 offer on Monday which we cashed in only 10 minutes, so let’s see what the Mayor of Value City has to dish out on Hump Day!

Colorado Avalanche vs Seattle Kraken Preview
April 27, 02:37 (UK time)
I know that was easy money on Monday, and a 2.71 ticket in your pocket must have felt pretty nice leaving you with a fat wallet! So, I am up to my antics again on Wednesday with my best bet because the odds are 2.65 for this gem.
This series is so tight and home ice hasn’t given either team an advantage as we’ve seen each of them pick up a road win to leave us level at two wins apiece entering Game 5.
Let me get you caught up as to what has transpired this far in the series between the Avalanche and Kraken.
- Game 1 in Denver: Seattle picks up their first-ever post-season win in franchise history to open the series (3 – 1 Seattle)
- Game 2 in Denver: Colorado levels the series with a 3 – 2 win.
- Game 3 in Seattle: Colorado smashes the Kraken, 6 – 4 to take a 2 – 1 series lead.
- Game 4 in Seattle: The Kraken respond with a 3 – 2 home win as 2.40 underdogs.
So, here we are, and I am not convinced that the Avalanche is going to just ease into a home win as the line setters are trying to let us think. The Avalanche Moneyline is listed at 1.54, and the Kraken ML is 2.65 at Bet365. They offer the best odds on the Moneyline if we are thinking underdog, and guess what?
Who me? Call for an outright upset? Nun C’e’ Problema!
I think Seattle is going to bust into Denver and head home with a 3 – 2 series lead in a position to oust the Avalanche out of the post-season in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs! Do you like apples? How ya like them apples, baby?!
Do you want to know the difference for me? The third and fourth lines can easily end up deciding a hockey game sometimes. The Kraken has had 11 different players score in these playoffs, and they’ve scored only 12 goals overall through 4 games.
The Avalanche’s top-2 lines account for almost all of the scoring, as one might expect because they are filled with talent for sure. Only 7 different players have tallied a goal for Colorado, and that will play a factor again tonight.
Phil Grubauer and Alex Georgiev have both been fantastic outside of that 6 – 4 Game 3 affair, and they are undoubtedly going to be between the pipes for Game 5. Grubauer wants to beat the Avalanche in a playoff series so bad I can’t imagine how hard he will celebrate if they advance to the next round. Grubauer spent 3 years in Denver before these last two with Seattle, so it is fresh and certainly a motivator for him.
Georgiev spent five years wearing a Rangers uniform basically serving as the backup until he decided to test the water to see if any team would take him on as the main guy. The Avalanche bit the hook, and he has been a stellar catch to this point.

This game is going to be the best of the two that are being played tonight, as Boston and Florida will play the other game on the schedule. With the extreme value behind a big dog that can bite on the road, I offer the Kraken Moneyline and call for the upset special!
