Today’s Horse Racing Tips – September 4th
There are six meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday , with fans of the flat in for a busy afternoon. They have varied action to attack at Bath, Hamilton, Kempton (AW), Lingfield (AW) and Southwell (AW), with competitive (if low grade) fields across the country. Jumps fans will head to Killarney, with huge fields and the meeting getting underway at 2.15pm.

Bath 2.02 (UK time)
Scott Dixon’s 3-y-o remains open to plenty of improvement after just three career starts for new connections, and caught the eye in a better race than this when second at Chepstow in August. He has generously been dropped 3lb by the handicapper since starting out for the yard in July, and has Luke Morris back in the saddle after failing to handle Southwell last time out.
Odds: 5.50

Bath 3.32 (UK time)
Mark Gillard’s consistent handicapper has run with credit in defeat twice since winning over this course and distance in July, and a return to this sharp track on fast ground can see him win again under Liam Keniry. He found conditions on the easy side when a fair fifth at Goodwood last time under a 5lb claimer, and seems sure to go close here for professional handling.
Odds: 9.00
