Tuesday's Horse Racing Tips: Musselburgh, August 27th
Today’s Horse Racing Tips – August 27th
There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with fans of the turf in for a busy afternoon. They have competitive low grade action to study at Bellestown, Lingfield, Musselburgh and Ripon, with decent fields and fast ground expected in front of summer holiday crowds. Jumps fans will flock to Stratford, where the action gets underway at 4.55pm.

Today’s Daily Nap
Dunnington Lad
Musselburgh 3.10 (UK time)
Peter Winks sprinter showed terrific early speed to win for the fifth time in his career at Ripon last time out, and can defy the handicapper at Musselburgh on Tuesday. He has been found a very weak race on paper to follow up in, and his trailblazing tactics are usually a very good plan of attack at this track (with the booking of the promising 5lb claimer Ethan Jones a positive).
Odds: 6.00
Today’s Value Angle
Fanzone
Musselburgh 3.40 (UK time)
Liam Bailey’s 7-y-o rarely misses a meeting at Musselburgh, and he has been running really well in defeat here all summer in similar company. A career record of just 1 win from 39 starts illustrates how quirky he is, but he shaped very well over 7f last time and this return to a mile should suit ideally if the cards fall right late.
Odds: 9.00
