Monday’s Horse Racing Tips: Plumpton, November 20th
Today’s Horse Racing Tips – November 20th
There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with Kempton (AW) and providing some competitive all-weather action to keep bookmakers and punters busy through to the evening under the lights. Jumping fans have Exeter, Leicester and Plumpton to get stuck into on soft ground, with some really tricky low grade handicaps to solve across three pretty competitive NH cards.

General Medrano
Plumpton 1:40 (UK time)
Emma Lavelle has her team in terrific form at the moment, with five winners in the last fortnight at a 16pc strike rate, and her useful hurdler has made a smooth transition to jumping fences in recent weeks. He has won twice in style under Tom Bellamy (impressing with his jumping at Huntingdon and Uttoxeter), and will relish this sharp left handed track on easy ground under topweight.
Odds: NA
Today’s Value Angle
Duhallow Tommy
Plumpton 2:15 (UK time)
Toby Lawes is a young trainer to follow over the next few years, usually striking when the cash is down in this sphere and his unexposed novice looks on a very lenient mark now going into handicaps for the first time. He showed promise when a remote fourth at Fontwell last time out (finishing tired having gone off too hard in front), and a more patient ride from Tom Cannon can see him get off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles.
Odds: NA
