Today’s Daily Nap
Peace Wall
Brighton 2:25 (UK time)
Kevin Phillapart de Foye is very much a young trainer to follow over the next few seasons, and his unexposed juvenile has been found a good opportunity to get off the mark at the fifth attempt at Brighton on Monday. He made a promising handicap debut at Catterick last time out behind Travel Candy (just onepaced from the furlong pole in a more competitive contest), and remains open to improvement after just four career starts for these astute connections.
Odds: NA
Today’s Value Angle
Bachelor Boy
Brighton 3:35 (UK time)
John Gallagher’s modest handicapper was not seen to best effect over seven furlongs here last time out (soon pulling hard in a poor early position and never involved), but he had been shaping well previously and is now very well treated on the pick of his form. Darragh Keenan takes over in the saddle in this very weak Class 6, and more positive tactics at six furlongs should see him in a much better light.
Odds: NA
Odds are best odds available as at 2am September 4th 2023. Odds may now differ.
