Today’s Horse Racing Tips – July 10th

Today’s Daily Nap
Broken Spear
Ayr 2:55 (UK time)
Tony Coyle’s veteran 7-y-o has only won five of his 58 career starts to date, but he has shaped well this season and looked ahead of his mark when winning at Leicester last time out on testing ground over this 6f trip. He has plenty of natural speed that needs channelling patiently now concentrating on sprinting, and this Class 3 contest looks an excellent opportunity under Tom Eaves (with decent easy ground conditions to suit).
Odds: NA
Today’s Value Angle
Berry Edge
Ayr 3:30 (UK time)
Michael Dods handicapper has been running well in defeat all season, and looked desperately unlucky not to win over this course and distance in May (heavily backed but left with plenty of ground to make up before finishing strongly). He has been inching up the weights without winning as a result of his consistency, but has a good make up back at Ayr on Monday (with a few confirmed frontrunners in the line up), and can swoop late with a clear run through from rear.
Odds: NA
