Today’s Horse Racing Tips – September 15th

Today’s Daily Nap
Penguin Island
Sandown 2:40 (UK time)
Henry Candy’s 4-y-o sprinter has won 1 of her 14 career starts, and signalled a return to peak form with a creditable fifth last time out at Windsor (just fading late over 6f after being repeatedly checked when beginning his customary charge). She should get the strong pace she needs to aim at here with a few confirmed speedballs in the line up (dropping back to a stiff 5f on fast ground), and Trevor Whelan will be looking to weave a way through to assert late
Odds: NA
Today’s Value Angle
I’m Puzzled
Sandown 3:50 (UK time)
Roger Charlton’s progressive juvenile failed to land a wholesale gamble down to 2/1f on nursery debut over seven furlongs at Newcastle last time out, but he shaped well and will relish the step up to a mile now switched to fast turf. There should be plenty more improvement in the tank after just four career starts, and Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle is a big positive.
Odds: NA
