Today’s Horse Racing Tips – September 27th
There are six race meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday, with flat action from Dundalk (AW), Haydock, Newmarket, and Wolverhampton (AW), keeping punters busy through to the evening under lights. Jumping fans will head to Worcester, with big fields and a bumper crowd assured, while Listowel also stage a competitive card on eased ground after the recent rain.

Task Force
Newmarket 3.35 (UK time)
Ralph Beckett continues in terrific form with 12 winners in the past fortnight, and his classy performer shaped really well at York last time out in the Group 3 Strensall Stakes (free under restraint initially and then short of room at a crucial stage behind See the Fire). A switch to frontrunning tactics in this small field could see him in a much better light under Ryan Moore, and he remains open to improvement after just seven career starts.

Aimeric
Newmarket 4.45 (UK time)
Karl Burke’s 5-y-o has won 5 of his 15 career starts, and has run to a consistent level since making a winning seasonal reappearance at Lingfield in May. This track should suit him better than when fourth behind Al Aasy at Goodwood last time out, and his battle-hardened nature will count in the closing stages under regular rider Clifford Lee.
Odds: 6.00
