There is also a mixed card at Galway as the festival reaches day six, with frenetic betting activity in the ring assured on a competitive card.

Charlie Hills useful sprinter has been a real moneyspinner around the world over the last few seasons, and he comes into this Group 2 on the back of a cracking effort in the Kings Stand at the Royal meeting (33/1 but pressed hard until fading in the final furlong behind Bradsell). The booking of Frankie Dettori is a huge plus to his chances, and he can swoop late if enjoying any luck in running.

Stan Moore does well every season with a relatively small team of horses, and his 4-y-o handicapper looked sure to be winning when finishing a cracking third at Newcastle in April on his seasonal reappearance. He has had excuses since for three unplaced efforts, outclassed at Group and listed level at big prices, and should appreciate a bit of cut in the ground (with David Egan up for the first time since winning on him at Kempton last November).
