Today’s Horse Racing Tips – September 13th
There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday, with fans of the flat in for a varied afternoon, with typically competitive and decent grade fields at Chester, Doncaster, Salisbury and Sandown to study. Jumping fans will head to Ballinrobe for some very hard to solve racing over the sticks, with the action getting underway at 3.25pm.

Quantum Leap
Doncaster 1.50 (UK time)
Ed Bethell is very much a young trainer to follow over the next few seasons (in good form right now with 2 winners from his last 14 runners), and his quirky staying handicapper has been found a terrific opening at Doncaster on Friday. He has won 2 of his 11 career starts so far, and returned to his very best when fourth in a huge field at York last time out in slightly stronger company (running on strongly from well off the pace).
Odds: 9.00

Big Mojo
Doncaster 3.00 (UK time)
Mick Appleby’s juvenile lost no caste in defeat when fourth in the Group 2 Gimcrack at York last time out (form franked on Saturday by the 80/1 third), and remains open to plenty more improvement after just three career starts. He will relish this flat track dropping back to five furlongs, and can swoop late under Silvestre de Sousa.
Odds: 5.00
