Friday’s Horse Racing Tips: Cheltenham, December 15th
Today’s Horse Racing Tips – December 15th
There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday, with NH fans in for a busy afternoon of high class racing. They have Bangor, Cheltenham and Doncaster to get stuck into on eased ground, with some cracking handicaps to solve at Prestbury Park in particular alongside a few potential star novices from the top southern yards. AW action comes from Dundalk and Southwell, with the lights coming on at 5.15pm for two low grade cards.

Cheltenham 1:15 (UK time)
Dan Skelton’s novice looked a smart prospect when making a winning hurdling debut at Uttoxeter in September, relishing the decent eased ground under a patient ride, and lost no caste in defeat when only fourth in a Grade 2 here last time out. He remains open to more improvement after just two starts over timber (pointing background), and this opening handicap mark certainly seems on the lenient side with conditions to suit.

Walk in Clover
Cheltenham 1:50 (UK time)
Dan Skelton’s mare has her share of quirks (takes plenty of settling in the early stages and needs producing very late), but she has improved this season and has a terrific record at this demanding track. A strong pace seems likely here with a couple of frontrunners in the line up, and she can swoop up the hill with Harry Skelton taking over in the saddle.
Odds: NA
