The Longshot: High Odds Acca Tips and Predictions
Jimmy The Punt’s Longshot: High Odds Acca tips and predictions return in the form of a Championship goalscorer at 9.50 and 46.00.
Both of these bets have already clicked in the players 45 minute cameo last weekend, are we ahead of the curve or a week too late? I am hoping for the latter.
The punt comes via the Championship’s early kick-off as automatic hopefuls Ipswich Town host play-off contenders West Brom. I would urge anyone backing these selections to shop around as at the time of writing not every firm had priced up this market.

Ipswich vs West Brom: How do you like your goals?
England, Championship, Saturday February 10th, 15:00 (UK)
Kieffer Moore enjoyed one hell of a debut cameo against Preston last weekend.
The frontman was introduced at half-time with his side three goals down, scoring twice in the final 15 minutes, being the catalyst for an almost incredible comeback.
The cumbersome target man racked up seven attempts in those 45 minutes at Deepdale; four hit the target, and two found the net, but it is also worth noting five came via his head, as did one of his goals.
Obviously, game state was a major factor in this freakish shot total, but there is no doubt that Moore is just the tonic for Ipswich in Hirst’s absence.
The Tractor boys rank third for accurate crosses in the Championship, averaging 4.9 per game, and this should come as no surprise as they have one of the league’s best crossers of the ball at left back.
Leif Davis averages three key passes (pass leading to a shot) per game, topping the division’s charts. He also has the joint most assists, tied with Southampton’s Adam Armstrong on 11.
Davis combined with Moore against Preston, and I could see the pair combining for plenty of goals in the remainder of the season as they complement one another games so well.

Ipswich vs West Brom: Same Again Please
England, Championship, Saturday February 10th, 15:00 (UK)
Blighted by key injuries, Ipswich’s form has tailed off ever so slightly.
George Hirst pulled up in the first half of the Tractor Boys 1-1 draw with Leicester, and since then, his side has only won two of their seven games and taken six points from the 15 on offer in the Championship.
This, coupled with the ravenous form of the chasing pack, has seen Kieran McKenna’s side surrender the seven-point automatic spot cushion they had on Christmas day, falling to fourth place, two points behind Southampton.
Victory in the lunchtime kick-off against West Brom would see Ipswich hoist themselves back into second place with Leeds and Southampton not in action until 15:00. The pair are both heavily odds-on to win their games with Rotherham and Huddersfield though, so it could be a topsy-turvy afternoon at the helm of the division.
A victory over the Baggies is not a foregone conclusion for Ipswich either.
At 2.10 in the 1×2, the hosts are currently the same price they went off against Sunderland a month ago. At the start of December, Ipswich went off considerably shorter in their win over Coventry (1.79). With only four points currently separating West Brom from Coventry and Sunderland, Ipswich’s drift in price reflects their drop-off in form.
Carlos Corberan’s side are only a spot below Ipswich but are 11 points behind them. The majority (68.75%) of his side’s points have been won at the Hawthorns. On the road, West Brom’s haul of 15 points is the 17th worst in the second tier, which makes for bad reading ahead of their trip to Portman Road.
Moore terrorised Preston from the bench last weekend, and I am hoping for the same again this weekend, please, by backing him to score a brace and a header. You can make this via bet365’s bet builder.
