Selection 1: Burnley vs West Ham – Burnley +0.5 (AH)
I’m backing Burnley to get something from this match. The Clarets are one of the value teams in the Premier League this season and I’m sticking with them for the next few weeks. They had chances but ultimately lost last time against Newcastle, only their second defeat in nine matches. The other one came against Manchester City. This Burnley side may not have picked up too many points so far this season but they don’t lose many matches. That’s why I’m backing them plus half a goal for the second week running.
This strategy is also based on the fact that West Ham are currently overperforming expectations. The Hammers have three points more than the data suggests they should have at this stage. Only two sides are outperforming their expected points by a higher margin. They’re scoring more and conceding fewer goals than the data suggests they should. I expect that to catch up with them in the coming matchdays.
Forward Michail Antonio is in a dire run of form by his standards. Antonio is on his longest Premier League goal drought for almost two years. It’s six straight league matches without a goal for the Jamaica international.

Selection 2: Leicester vs Newcastle – Over 3.5 Goals
I’m expecting a goal-fest when Leicester host Newcastle this Sunday. The Foxes had yet another high-scoring match in the Europa League in midweek. They lost 3-2 in Napoli and I expect a similar contest here. That has been the norm for Brendan Rodgers throughout much of the season. The Foxes have the second-highest average number of total match goals in the Premier League this season at 3.33. Only Liverpool have a higher tally. Both teams have scored in 73% of their games. No side has a higher rate than that.
One side that matches that figure of both teams scoring in 73% of their Premier League matches this season is Newcastle. The Magpies have scored at least once in five of their last six away matches. Their average number of total match goals has dropped off since Howe took charge. However, I can see them looking to attack a Leicester side that rarely fails to score. That’s why I’m backing over on goals here.

Selection 3: Crystal Palace vs Everton – Crystal Palace to Win
I’m going for a Palace win against Everton. Patrick Vieira’s men are due a victory after three consecutive defeats in the Premier League. The Eagles have had a mixed bag this season but they haven’t picked up as many points as they should have. Their underlying data in their recent three matches has been fairly good but they lost all three. They restricted their opponents to under 1 xG in five of their last seven Premier League games.
They now welcome an Everton side that has done almost the exact opposite in data terms. The Toffees’ opponents have had over 1 xG in seven of Everton’s last eight matches. Rafael Benitez’s men lost six of those eight matches but their winless run came to an end last time out. Demarai Gray’s late winner against Arsenal secured Everton’s first win since September.
But Everton are on a dire run of away form. They’ve lost four of their last five away games in the top flight, scoring only twice in that time. They’ve conceded the first goal in each of those games but they have a surprisingly good record after conceding. The Toffees have won more points from losing positions than any other side in the top flight this campaign. Over half of their Premier League points have come after going behind.
That is unsustainable and I don’t think they’ll have enough to get anything out of this match. Everton got the win they were due last time out. I think it’s Crystal Palace’s turn to do the same here.

What is a Football Acca?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Premier League accas which is what we have created here.If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
