Horse Racing Sunday Premier League Acca: 19th December
I’ve got all three of Sunday’s matches on my Premier League acca this Sunday. All of the big three sides have games to play with all three of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea playing away. I expect a couple of upsets here and for Manchester City to gain some more ground in the title race. My Premier League acca has odds of 9.27. Selection 1: Wolves vs Chelsea – Wolves +1 (AH)
I expect a low-scoring match here. That is usually the case when Wolves play. They’ve only conceded twice in their last five matches and those goals came in the games against Liverpool and Manchester City. The problem for Wolves is that they don’t score too many either. They’ve managed only one in their last five. That came in the 1-0 win over Brighton in midweek.
There are some definite weaknesses in this Chelsea side. That’s why I’m backing Wolves plus a small handicap rather than looking at other markets like under on goals.

Selection 2: Newcastle vs Manchester City – Over 3.25 Goals
I expect goals in this one. Newcastle conceded three in midweek and I wouldn’t be surprised if they let in a few more against this Manchester City side. Pep Guardiola’s men are fresh off that 7-0 demolition of Leeds in midweek. They now go away to a Newcastle side that has conceded three or more goals in four of their last eight matches.
I’m going over on goals here. I can see both sides getting on the scoresheet that’s why I’m backing the goals market rather than going for a big City win. There are usually a lot of goals when Newcastle and Manchester City meet. City won this match 4-3 last season and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another high-scoring, if more one-sided match.

Selection 3: Tottenham vs Liverpool – +0.75 (AH)
I expect another upset in this match in North London. We haven’t seen much of Tottenham in recent weeks. They’ve had several games suspended in both the Premier League and in Europe. It’s difficult to say how they’ll get on here considering that lengthy lay-off for most of their players.
There were some good signs in Conte’s first few matches. Tottenham have only conceded once in the Premier League since Conte took over in North London. They’re scoring more goals and racked up three wins from four but it’s a big ask to get one against Liverpool.
The Reds are grinding wins out with six consecutive victories in the Premier League. The worry for them has been a slight decline in their attacking output. They put three past Newcastle in midweek but there was more than a little fortune involved. The Reds also needed a penalty to get past Aston Villa and a last-minute winner for three points against Wolves.
This may well be a tight match. I considered backing under on goals but I think there’s just more value with the hosts on the Asian lines. Spurs rarely lose at home and I don’t think that will change here.
