RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich Bet Builder Tips: Sharing The Goals Around

Both Teams To Score

This match is undoubtedly the main event in Germany this weekend. RB Leipzig crushed Bayern 3-0 in the Super Cup, and the Bavarian giants will be out for revenge here. Leipzig are in fine form. They are a point behind Bayern, having won their last five matches in all competitions. Their only setback so far this season was a narrow away defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern have scored 11 goals in their two matches since drawing 2-2 with Leverkusen. They are joint top of the Bundesliga and made a winning start in the Champions League. However, they could drop to 3rd with defeat here.

The recent head-to-heads between these sides have been absolute goal fests. There has been an average of 4.5 goals per game across the last six meetings, with Bayern averaging 2.33 of those goals.

Leipzig are averaging 2.86 goals per competitive match so far this season, so they should have no issues creating chances here. Bayern have scored 3.14 goals per game, and both teams have found the net in the last four league meetings between these sides.

Harry Kane To Score Anytime

Harry Kane has made a dream start to life in Germany. The England captain scored three and earned two assists in Bayern’s emphatic 7-0 win over Bochum. He has seven Bundesliga goals already, and it would take a brave man to back against him finding the net this weekend.

Kane has proven his goal-scoring prowess over a number of years in the Premier League. He has been shackled by a largely defensive Tottenham approach in recent years. His early matches at Bayern have shown what he is capable of when playing in a team capable of dominating.

It may be early days, but he will have his sights set on breaking the Bundesliga goal record set by Robert Lewandowski. The record stands at 41. Kane is set to score between 47 and 48 goals if he continues to score at this rate. A prominent display this weekend would help his side seize the early initiative in the title race.

Over 0.5 Shots On Target For Leroy Sane

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane tops the shooting charts for Thomas Tuchel’s side with 20 in five league matches. However, his ability to drop deep and pick a killer pass has meant that the other players in Bayern’s attack are carrying plenty of threat in the final third.

Leroy Sane trails just behind Kane with 16 shots in the Bundesliga. He has found the net four times already, leaving him 5th in the top scorer rankings. The winger grabbed eight goals throughout last season and looks set to hammer that number this campaign.

Sane is an exceptional dribbler, and he is particularly effective when he is isolated against the opposition fullback. He possesses great composure in front of goal, as well as the technique to find the back of the net from awkward angles.

Bayern’s ability to give him the ball in advanced areas of the pitch this season have made him tremendously effective. Sane is averaging 3.3 shots per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga; 2.1 of those have found the target.
