PSG vs Nice Bet Builder Tips: Low scoring PSG win likely

PSG to win

PSG got off to a sluggish start to the season with draws against Lorient and Toulouse. However, there were always likely to be teething problems with new head coach Luis Enrique implementing his new system. Kylian Mbappé also had to integrate himself back into the team and wasn’t quite at his sharpest. PSG have since beaten both Lens and Lyon convincingly, although this will be a more demanding game.

Nice have started the season well with no defeat in any of their four goals. They rank high in the possession stats under new manager Francesco Farioli and have the lowest xG in all of Ligue 1 (2.70). Farioli’s style is more of control rather than an entertaining style. Nice are much more disciplined and organized under his leadership. This is by far his toughest test yet, but overall, you’d think PSG should have enough to prevail, with their individual quality making the difference.

Kylian Mbappé to score anytime

Until the odds make no sense, or unless he goes massively off form, then taking Kylian Mbappé to score anytime in a PSG match is just a simple no-brainer. He has netted in all of the fixtures since his return and is totally the main man for the capital club.

This could be the type of game PSG needs him to step up with something individual, and he is more than likely to rise to the challenge. It’s also the type of fixture where PSG might try to break through by winning a penalty, and he will be on spot-kick duty.

Under 3.5 Goals

It is never a great feeling backing under goals in anything, but this is likely to be a fairly tight game with Nice coming to Paris aiming to frustrate PSG. The visitors have had all of their contests end with under 2.5 goals so far this season, and as aforementioned, their metrics have been excellent, with an xGA of just 2.70. Nice themselves have lacked goals and might not offer enough to get on the scoresheet themselves, especially if they have a negative game plan.

Something like a 2-0 or even 1-0 victory for PSG could be on the cards, with Kylian Mbappé a likely difference-maker. The 2-1 scoreline is also covered by taking Under 3.5 Goals just in case Nice were to hit the back of the net.
