The Premier League props acca is here with Scott Thornton bringing you a bet for each of the five televised matches in England’s top flight this weekend as well as a 3 o’clock kick-off.

Arsenal are looking to get their title challenge back on track by beating Newcastle in the first game of the weekend. Saturday is rounded off with Nottingham Forest vs West Ham and Wolves vs Crystal Palace. On Sunday, Tottenham hosts Aston Villa before Manchester United play their first league game of the post-Erik Ten Hag era against Chelsea. Fulham vs Brentford occupies the Monday Night football slot.

Acca odds: 41.34

Newcastle vs Arsenal: The Gunners Remain Cautious

England, Premier League, Saturday, 2nd November, 12:30 (UK)

Newcastle have made a shaky start to the season. They currently sit 12th in the table and pressure will build on Eddie Howe if things don’t improve quickly. The Magpies were beaten by Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend but avenged that defeat by knocking the Blues out of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.

Arsenal drew 2-2 at home with Liverpool last weekend, meaning they are now four points behind Manchester City in the title race. Defensive injuries were a big blow for Mikel Arteta but Gabriel and Timber should be fit to play on Saturday. William Saliba will also return from suspension.

Eddie Howe’s side’s matches have seen an average of 28.11 shots this season but recent encounters with Arsenal have fallen well short of this mark. Under 27.5 shots has landed in the last five head-to-heads with an average of 23.6 attempts per game.

The Gunners’ away matches have seen an average of 24.74 shots per game. This average is driven up by the 38 attempts in their clash with Manchester City where Pep Guradiola’s side laid siege to Arsenal’s goal thanks to a red card. None of their other three league matches on the road have seen more than 22 shots.

  • Selection: Under 27.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Nottingham Forest vs West Ham: End to end?

England, Premier League, Saturday, 2nd November, 15:00 (UK)

Nottingham Forest are flying high. They have suffered just one defeat in the league thus far and are searching for a third consecutive win when they host West Ham on Sunday. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently 7th in the league, just one point behind Chelsea.

The Hammers beat Manchester United thanks to a controversial VAR call that awarded them a late penalty. Julen Lopetegui has had a difficult start to his time at West Ham but he will be hoping last weekend’s win can kickstart a good run of form.

There have been 31 shots or more in Forest’s last three games. Their league games at the City Ground have seen 29.75 shots on average. Over 28.5 shots also won when they faced the Hammers in this fixture last season.

West Ham have had more than their fair share of defensive woes as Lopeteguo attempts to change their style of play. As a result, their matches have seen the most shots in the Premier League with an average of 30.56 per game. There have been 29 shots or more in three of their four away games.

  • Selection: Over 28.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Wolves vs Crystal Palace: The Eagles Set to Engage in a Tackles Fest with Wolves

England, Premier League, Saturday, 2nd November, 17:30 (UK)

Relegation was never a threat for Wolves last season but they are still waiting for their first win after nine matches of the current campaign. Gary O’Neil’s side were handed a very difficult start when the fixtures were drawn but now they need to take advantage of an easier run.

Oliver Glasner made an immediate impact when he took over at Crystal Palace for the final months of last season. However, the Eagles have failed to reach those heights this season and sit in 17th having amassed a total of six points.

Tackles have been plentiful in recent meetings between Wolves and Crystal Palace. There has been an average of 42.8 tackles in the last five matches between the sides. Gary O’Neil’s side racked up a total of 26 tackles in their last home game against Manchester City and should make a healthy contribution to the overall tackle count once again.

Crystal Palace have made an average of 22.25 tackles per away game this season. There were 46 tackles the last time played at this ground so we are backing at least 40 here.

  • Selection: Over 39.5 Tackles In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Tottenham vs Aston Villa: Postecoglou’s Men Pack a Punch

England, Premier League, Sunday, 3rd November, 14:00 (UK)

Tottenham bounced back from their defeat at Selhurst Park last weekend by eliminating Manchester City from the League Cup. Ange Postecoglou’s side are targeting a Champions League qualification place this season but they are 8th in the league with 13 points.

Aston Villa beat Tottenham to 4th last season and that’s the position they occupy coming into this clash. Arsenal are the only team to triumph over Unai Emery’s side in the league this season. However, the Villains have drawn three of their last four Premier League games.

Ange Postecoglou is known for his high-risk approach and it Sunday will be no different. Spurs aren’t afraid to let the shots fly and this means they have forced the second most goal kicks in the league this season with an average of 8.56 per game. Their opponents have had nine or more goal kicks in their last five league matches.

The Villains are averaging 8.25 goal kicks per away game this season. Our bet also landed when they visited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last season as they had nine goal kicks.

  • Selection: Over 7.5 Goal Kicks For Aston Villa (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Manchester United vs Chelsea: The Shackles are off for the Red Devils

England, Premier League, Sunday, 3rd November, 16:30 (UK)

Manchester United sacked Erik Ten Hag in the wake of last weekend’s defeat against West Ham. Ruud Van Nistelrooy led the team to a 5-2 win over Leicester midweek and he is likely to be on the touchline this Sunday with the Red Devils still finalising terms with Ruben Amorim.

Enzo Maresca will be delighted with the way things have been going for Chelsea. The League Cup exit was a setback but the Blues are 5th in the Premier League, just six points behind 1st place.

Van Nistelrooy threw caution to the wind in the League Cup clash with Leicester and it resulted in a whopping 43 shots in the match with United having 25. The Red Devils had 23 shots in their last home game against Brentford and the home crowd will be willing them to attack with a club legend at the helm on Sunday.

Chelsea have conceded 15 or more shots in two of their four league away games thus far. The Blues allowed Manchester United to have 47 shots across their two Premier League meetings last season with this bet winning in both.

  • Selection: Over 14.5 Shots For Manchester United (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Fulham vs Brentford: Fulham Unafraid of Being Stung by the Bees

England, Premier League, Monday, 4th November, 20:00 (UK)

Fulham have consolidated their place in the top flight under Marco Silva and this season could prove to be their best yet. The Cottagers are currently 10th in the league having lost just three of their nine matches.

Brentford are a point ahead of Fulham. The Bees suffered a drop-off last season but look back to their best in the early stages of this campaign. The loss of Ivan Toney has seemingly had very little impact and Thomas Franks remains one of the Premier League’s most astute tacticians.

Marco Silva’s side have made an average of 18 tackles per game in the Premier League this season. This increases to 20.25 if we only consider the data from their matches at Craven Cottage and over they have made at least 16 tackles in the last three of those games.

The Bees’ opponents have made an average of 17.33 tackles in this campaign. They have forced over 15.5 tackles in three of their four league matches on the road.

  • Selection: Over 15.5 Tackles For Fulham (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10
