Premier League Acca Tips: Saturday January 15th 2022
There are five matches scheduled for Saturday 15th January and I’ve got Premier League acca tips for all of them. The highlight of the day is undoubtedly Manchester City vs Chelsea in the early kickoff. There may be 10 points difference between the two sides in the table but it’s still 1st vs 2nd. In this article, I’ve also got Premier League acca tips for the following matches:
- Manchester City vs Chelsea
- Norwich vs Everton
- Wolves vs Southampton
- Newcastle vs Watford
- Aston Villa vs Manchester United
My Premier League tips for the season have a healthy yield of +4.82% and +41.24 units. Head here for the rest of my Premier League tips for the weekend.

Selection 1: Manchester City vs Chelsea – Over 2.75 Goals
I’m counting on goals when Manchester City meet Chelsea in the early kick-off. I almost backed the Blues given the odds. City are in great form but are due a loss. I thought it would have come last time out against Arsenal but it may come here. The only thing putting me off the Blues is the situation with goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. The Senegal international is away at the Africa Cup of Nations and I don’t like that drop-off.
I can see goals between the sides. Expect Joao Cancelo to star for City but for both sides to get on the scoresheet. Chelsea aren’t the defensive rocks they once were but they should look sturdier with the returning N’Golo Kante. There are usually goals when these sides meet and City are capable of putting half a dozen past any side they meet. Especially at home.

Selection 2: Norwich vs Everton – Everton to Win
I almost went the other way here and backed Norwich plus half a goal in the Asian lines. However, I can see Everton picking up the three points against the Canaries. Rafael Benitez’s men are due a win and should have the returning Dominic Calvert-Lewin and possibly even Richarlison for this game. That makes Everton a much stronger side and puts them in good stead to get a result against this toothless Norwich team.
Norwich have struggled for goals of late. They haven’t scored in any of their last six Premier League matches. If they fail to score in this match it will be their longest ever streak of matches without scoring a goal in the Premier League.
Selection 3: Wolves vs Southampton – Southampton +0.25 (AH)
I don’t think this will be the most exciting game of the weekend. Wolves have had under 1.5 total match goals in each of their last eight Premier League games. Under 1.5 again here was a temptation but I elected to back the visitors. Southampton got a result in midweek and I think they’ll get another one here. If that goal line was a little higher then I’d have backed the under but Southampton plus a quarter should cover most outcomes.

Selection 4: Newcastle vs Watford – Under 2.5 Goals
Another Saturday match that I don’t think will have too many goals. Newcastle face Watford and will hope to call upon their two new acquisitions. The Magpies need the reinforcement badly and will hope that Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood can have a big influence on this match. The former Burnley man should come straight into the side if he’s fit.
I expect a tense, nervy affair between these two relegation-threatened sides. If one of them can win it then it will set them up well to beat the drop. I can’t call it so I’m going under on goals.

Selection 5: Aston Villa vs Manchester United – Aston Villa +0.25 (AH)
I backed the upset when Aston Villa faced Manchester United in the FA Cup last week and I’m going for it again. Steven Gerrard’s men dominated that game at Old Trafford last weekend but the hosts walked away with the win.
I don’t think they’ll have the same luck at Villa Park here so I’m going for Aston Villa plus a quarter of a goal. They’ve impressed against the best sides in the division since Gerrard took over but are still waiting for that first win. Even if they only manage a point then my bet still holds.

What is a Football Acca?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Premier League accas which is what we have created here.If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
