International football is over, so we won’t be seeing any of that for four months, and to mark the return of domestic duty Jimmy the Punt has put together some Premier League Acca Tips.
We’re over a quarter of a way into the season and the table has taken sharp. This weekend’s selections, featuring Sheffield United vs Bournemouth, Burnley vs West Ham and Everton vs Manchester United, all involving the sides wallowing at the foot of the division, are paying out at 8.11.

Sheffield United vs Bournemouth: Sheffield Rack Them Up
England, Premier League, Saturday, November 25th, 15:00 (UK)
Sheffield United host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon and even though the season is only at the quarter stage, the magnitude of this fixture cannot be understated.
The Blades sit third from the bottom. They rose one place over the international place due to Everton’s point deduction but remained one point from safety and four behind Saturday’s opposition.
No doubt, Paul Heckingbottom needs three points more then Andoni Iraola, but a slip up in South Yorkshire would leave the Cherries only one point ahead of the Blades, putting five teams in the frame for relegation.
Given the state of play, it should come as no surprise to see the card line at 4.5 at Bramall Lane. You would imagine the majority of the cards to go the way of the home side though.
Sheffield United have the fifth worst disciplinary record (2.83 per game), compared to Bournemouth who have the second cleanest (1.75).
Heckingbottom has also confirmed Oliver McBurnie and Anel Ahmedhodzic are fit to start. The pair have notched up four yellows and a red between them this season.
Siding with the Blades to win the card count is the bet here.
Burnley vs West Ham: Hammer Time
England, Premier League, Saturday, November 25th, 15:00 (UK)
I think West Ham are the most average side in the Premier League. Not in an insulting way, I would just be shocked if they do not finish in 10th this campaign.
The Hammers are the litmus for teams: sides I am sure will finish above them tend to beat them, and sides destined to finish in the bottom half usually lose to them.
David Moyes’ men have lost to Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Everton and most recently Brentford. The Toffees may sit in the relegation zone due to off-the-field circumstances, but after the result at the London Stadium, I have no doubt they will be in the top half come May.
Next on the roster for West Ham is Burnley, largely regarded as the best of a bad bunch of promoted sides, it is actually the Clarets that have disappointed the most. Vincent Kompany’s side currently prop up the table, two points from safety.
WHU swept aside Sheffield United and Luton with relative ease and I expect this to be the case at Turf Moor, even in the absence of Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio.
- Selection: West Ham Win
- Best Odds: 2.10

Everton vs Manchester United: The Climb Begins
England, Premier League, Sunday, November 26th, 16:30 (UK)
Everton take on Manchester United in Sunday’s feature game infront of what will be a raucous home crowd.
Given the off the field antics, this fixture promises to be one of the games of the weekends. Goodison will no doubt be a cauldron of emotion.
The state of affairs behind the scenes have created a siege mentality at Everton, one Shaun Dyche will no doubt use to his advantage to further galvanise a group he was already getting a tune out of.
Since October, Everton have played only once (at Anfield), winning four of the six games they have played.
The Toffees lost their opening three games, and have only lost three of their 12 games since. The turning point was at half time at Doncaster in the League Cup. A goal down, new signing Beto came on and with a vocal point, Dyche’s side looked a different animal.
Since that victory, backing Everton draw-no-bet would have paid out in all bar two of their games and given the circumstances here, that is essentially the bet.
