Barcelona vs Sevilla is the standout game in La Liga but we also have a bet for Villarreal vs Getafe, which kicks off before the Balugrana on Sunday.

Acca odds: 41.23

Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Top of the Bundesliga Shooting Charts

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 19th October, 14:30 (UK)

Bayer Leverkusen won the first title in the club’s history last season as they went the entire Bundesliga season unbeaten. They have already lost in this campaign and have dropped seven points. Despite the setbacks, Xabi Alonso’s side are just three points off top heading into the weekend.

Eintracht Frankfurt drew 3-3 against Bayern Munich in their last match. They kept just 26% possession but were incisive on the break. A late goal from Omar Marmoush was enough to snatch a point and it will give them confidence ahead of their clash with the champions.

Shots have been plentiful in Leverksuen’s six league matches. Alonso’s team are averaging 19.5 shots per outing and the overall match average of 31.5 shots is the second most in the Bundesliga.

Last season, shots were scarce in Frankfurt’s matches with an average of just 24.24 per game, the fewest in the Bundesliga. However, that has changed in the early stages of the current campaign. Their matches now see the most shots with an average of 31.67.

  • Selection: Over 26.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Hoffenheim vs Bochum: Head-to-Heads Point to Shot Fest

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 19th October, 14:30 (UK)

Both of these teams have made slow starts to the season. Hoffenheim kicked things off with a 3-2 home win over Holstein Kiel but they have failed to win any of their five matches since then, picking up just one point in the process.

Bochum avoided relegation via the playoffs last season. They have made a slow start this time around and their one point after six matches will have their fans fearing the worst. Unlike Hoffenheim, Die Unabsteigbaren are yet to record a win so living up to their “Undescendables” could be an issue if they don’t end that winless run soon.

Hoffenheim’s matches this season have seen 30.17 attempts on average. This is largely due to Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side conceding the third most shots in the division. There have been 33 shots or more in all three of their home matches so far.

Bochum matches have seen the third most shots in the Bundesliga with an average of 31.33 per game. There were 39 and 46 shots in the meetings between these sides last season.

  • Selection: Over 30.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Calcio Como vs Parma: Como’s Measured Approach

Italy, Serie A, Saturday, 19th October, 14:00 (UK)

Como were promoted from Serie B last season so an eight-point return from their opening seven matches is commendable. The tally means they sit in 14th, three points above the bottom three. Cesc Fabregas took on the role of head coach in the summer and he will be happy with how things have gone, barring the injury and subsequent retirement of Raphael Varane.

Parma are also a newly promoted outfit. They are two points behind Saturday’s opponents. Fabio Pecchia’s team snatched their only win of the season so far against AC Milan. They are yet to lose a game by more than one goal.

Fabregas’ side’s matches have seen 24.45 attempts on average, only four team’s games in Serie A have had fewer shots. Under 29.5 shots has won in five of their seven league matches.

Parma matches have seen the most shots in the league with an average of 32.14, which explains the higher line here. However, there were just 19 shots when these sides met at this ground last season. In fact, the last five head-to-heads between Como and Parma have seen 23.2 shots on average.

  • Selection: Under 29.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Roma vs Inter Milan: A Shortage of Attempts in Rome

Italy, Serie A, Sunday, 20th October, 19:45 (UK)

Ivan Juric was brought in to replace Daniele De Rossi as Roma boss after the club failed to win any of their first four league matches. The new boss has two wins and a draw in the league. Roma have a rotten record against Inter so the team will need to perform to maintain the managers’ unbeaten start in Serie A.

Inter are two points behind Napoli after seven matches. They won the league with ease last season but it looks as though they will face stiff competition from the likes of Napoli and Juventus this time around.

Roma matches have seen plenty of shots this season but we are backing under 26.5 in this one. There have been 25 shots or less in their last five clashes with Inter and those matches have seen just 22 shots on average.

The Nerazzurri’s away matches this season have seen an average of 25.33 shots. This bet has won in their two most recent league games on the road.

  • Selection: Under 26.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Villarreal vs Getafe: Bordalas Prioritising Stability

Spain, La Liga, Sunday, 20th October, 17:30 (UK)

Villarreal’s good start means they are 4th in the league, level on points with Atletico Madrid and seven points behind 1st. Their only two losses so far have come against Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Getafe started the season with a severely depleted squad but their selection woes have eased in recent weeks. They have picked up eight points thanks to a win and five draws. Jose Bordalas’ side have the third-best defensive record in La Liga and will look to hold firm here.

El Submarino Amarillo’s matches have seen the second most shots in the division with an average of 27.89 but their recent clashes with Getafe haven’t seen an abundance of shots. Under 26.5 shots has won in four of the last five head-to-heads. Those matches have seen 23.4 shots on average.

Bordelas’ team are conceding the feast shots in the league but they aren’t the most creative team. Therefore, Getafe matches have seen just 20.67 attempts on average, which is also the least in La Liga. Our bet for this one has won in eight of their nine league outings.

  • Selection: Under 26.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Barcelona vs Sevilla: The Blaugrana to be Tested

Spain, La Liga, Sunday, 20th October, 20:00 (UK)

Barcelona lead the way in La Liga. They never really troubled Real Madrid last season but Hansi Flick has the team singing from the same hymn sheet. The Balugrana face a difficult test against Sevilla this weekend before the upcoming El Classico. Barca have won eight of their nine league games to this point.

Garcia Pimienta is now in charge of Sevilla but there are no signs of them getting back amongst the European places. They are 12th in the league after seven matches. However, they have picked up three league wins in their last five, bouncing back from a winless start.

Hansi Flick’s side have shown real menace. Roberto Lewandowski looks back to his best and the team are averaging 17.11 shots per game. However, Barcelona have had 16 shots or fewer in their last three La Liga matches. Barca had just 11 shots when they last faced Sevilla.

Sevilla are conceding an average of 11.44 shots per game, which is below the league average of 11.97. This rises to 12.5 in their away matches but that’s still well below the line set by the bookmakers.

  • Selection: Under 16.5 Shots For Barcelona (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 2.00
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

European Props Acca Tips Odds via bet365 as at 13:27, October 17th, 2024. Odds may now differ.
