Match Day Eight of the Premier League season concluded at the Emirates following the tedious visit of Manchester City, but fear not, there’s a handful of Euro Qualifiers Acca Tips coming your way.

Despite the lack of action in North London, domestic football will be missed as our attentions are diverted towards the second international break of the season.

An 13.5 accumulator from the first round of fixtures should provide just the tonic, from our expert Jimmy The Punt.

Andorra vs Kosovo: Dull Dardanians

Andorra, European Qualifiers, Thursday, October 12th, 19:45 (UK)

I did not think I would be siding with Andorra as they welcome Kosovo on Thursday, but the hosts look an intriguing proposition.

Yes, they sit at the bottom of Group I, winless with a goal difference of -7, but they have shown promise.

The side ranked 153rd in the world held Belarus to a stalemate and drew 1-1 in the reverse of this fixture.

The 3-0 thumping in Switzerland is the only blemish on their Euro qualifying campaign. They were edged out by one goal as they hosted the Swiss, lost by the same margin in Israel and 2-0 against Romania.

The latter was the first time the Tricolors have lost by more than one goal at the Estadi Nacional nine games.

Kosovo, FIFA 111 ranked, do not appeal at 1.40 away from home.

Like Andorra, the visitors are yet to win this campaign, mainly because of their offensive woes, averaging less than a goal per game.

Unfortunately for Kosovo, their main threat is suspended for this fixture.

Vedat Muriqi has scored three goals, and with the frontman suspended, it is hard to see how the visitors get amongst the goals here.

Netherlands vs France: Count on Mbappe

Netherlands, European Qualifiers, Friday, October 13th, 19:45 (UK)

Why overcomplicate things?

Kylian Mbappe is priced at 2.50 to score anytime during France’s trip to the Netherlands, which is simply too large.
Les Bleus are currently the second-greatest nation in world football according to the rankings. They top Group B in qualifying after making a 100% start, winning 15 points, scoring 11 goals and keeping five clean sheets in the process.

Their star player tops the charts for goals scored (4) and assists (2). This means he has scored 40 goals for his nation, which translates to a goals per 90 average of 0.67 across his international career spanning 71 appearances.

Mbappe’s standards do not seem to drop, regardless if he is playing in the World Cup final or qualifying campaigns. In Qatar, he bagged a hat-trick. Across his last 16 games in the World Cup and Euro quals, he has bagged 12 goals.

It is worth noting the Netherlands have conceded five goals in four games this campaign, four of which came in the reverse.

Northern Ireland vs San Marino: Belfast Bore

Northern Ireland, European Qualifiers, Saturday, October 14th, 14:00 (UK)

Northern Ireland welcomed San Marino on Saturday afternoon, a fixture that should provide some solace after a brutal start to the qualifying campaign in Group H.

Michael O’Neill’s side’s only victory came in their opening game against the group’s minnows. Since then, the Green and White Army have lost each of their four games and have failed to score in 80% of those fixtures.

Despite their offensive woes, Northern Ireland have lived in the realms of fine margins, losing those four games by the same 1-0 scoreline, which suggests they have been unfortunate, and the underlying data supports this.

Northern Ireland have only scored twice, yet notched up an xG of 7.50 and conceded eight times from an xGA of 5.80. They are drastically underperforming in attack and have been unfortunate defensively.

Ultimately, they should beat San Marino, but given the lack of quality up front, it is hard to envisage a battering, which is why, at a shade of odds-on, under 4.5 goals appeals.

  • Selection: Under 4.5 Goals
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 5/10
