Scott Thornton is on hand to bring you three Champions League props acca tips as we prepare for a mouthwatering set of quarter-finals.

Barcelona hosts PSG on Tuesday night in what promises to be another end-to-end game. On Wednesday, Manchester City, who are fresh off of what feels like a pivotal weekend in the Premier League, are aiming to dump out the 14-time Champions League winners just as they did en route to the trophy last season. At the same time City and Real Madrid lock horns, Arsenal rock up at the Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich with the tie all square at 2-2.

Barcelona vs PSG: Visitors to Bring the Fight

Europe, Champions League, Tuesday, 16th April, 20:00 (UK)

It’s advantage Barcelona after the first leg. They have a 3-2 lead as they gear up for this match under the lights at the Camp Nou. Xavi was in the squad the last time that Barca lifted the Champions League trophy. He is now hoping to steer them to success as manager.

Luis Enrique is still aiming to win PSG their first Champions League. They suffered a setback in the first leg but this clash is far from over. The Parisians won 4-1 the last time they played at this ground.

Barcelona is averaging 5.62 goal kicks per Champions League game this season, but they will likely be under the cosh at times. PSG are behind from the very first whistle, so we are backing over 6.5 goal kicks for the home side. This bet won in both legs of Barcelona’s round of 16 tie with Napoli.

PSG are forcing an average of 8.25 goal kicks per European away game this season. Enrique’s opponents are averaging 9.43 goal kicks per 90 minutes when in losing positions in the Champions League this season.

  • Selection: Over 6.5 Goal Kicks For Barcelona (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 2.00

  • Stake: 8/10

Manchester City vs Real Madrid: First Leg Trend to Continue

Europe, Champions League, Wednesday, 17th April, 20:00 (UK)

Manchester City were handed a big boost at the weekend, with both Arsenal and Liverpool losing. A win on Wednesday night would round off a fantastic few days for Pep Guardiola’s side. They beat Real Madrid 4-0 when the teams went toe-to-toe at the Etihad last season.

Real Madrid are in a commanding position in La Liga. Carlo Ancelotti has had to contend with a wealth of injuries this season but the team have adapted well. They are enjoying an unbeaten run of 37 matches ahead of this quarter-final clash.

Pep Guardiola’s side are usually dominant, so their matches see very few tackles. However, if the first leg is anything to go by, we should see plenty on Wednesday night. There were 43 tackles in that one, well above the line set by the bookmaker.

Los Blancos beat RB Leipzig in the last round. There were 41 tackles in the away leg. Real Madrid will have to be ferocious to disrupt City, and they have several pacey players who force the opposition to make a tackle.

  • Selection: Over 32.5 Tackles In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Bayern Munich vs Arsenal: Gunners Under Pressure

Europe, Champions League, Wednesday, 17th April, 20:00 (UK)

The Champions League is now Bayern Munich and Harry Kane’s only hope for a trophy this season after Bayer Leverkusen were crowned champions in Germany over the weekend. Bayern earned a 2-2 draw at the Emirates, but Thomas Tuchel felt that his side should have received another penalty.

Arsenal were also left disappointed at the weekend. They surrendered top spot in the Premier League to Manchester City and will need to improve to advance in the Champions League. Mikel Arteta will be hoping his side can silence the crowd at the Allianz Arena early on.

Bayern will be up for this one. They created several good chances in the first leg and will fancy their chances at home. Thomas Tuchel’s side have had their struggles, but they are still used to dominating football matches. As a result, they are still forcing an average of 9.11 goal kicks per home game this season. We are backing the visitors to have at least eight goal kicks, which has landed in three of Bayern’s four home matches in this competition.

The Gunners are averaging 7.75 goal kicks per away game in the Champions League this season. They are also capable of taking the lead in this one, which would greatly increase the number of goal kicks they have.

  • Selection: Over 7.5 Goal Kicks For Arsenal (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 1.83
