Our Bournemouth vs Brentford prediction is for Bournemouth to win the match 2-1.

Bournemouth vs Brentford Prediction 1: Brilliant Bournemouth
England, Premier League, Saturday, May 11th, 15:00 (UK)
Andoni Iraola’s debut Premier League campaign has been a success. Bournemouth started the season poorly. They failed to earn maximum points in their opening nine outings. Doubts set in over the appointment of their Spanish coach. If the season had begun 25 matches ago, the Cherries would be 6th. Only Villa and the runaway front three have amassed more points. Successful, indeed.
The hosts have been impressive at the Vitality Stadium as of late. Bournemouth have defeated Brighton, Palace, Everton and Luton. The Cherries recorded two 2-2 draws against United and Sheffield United. The shot counter in those draws totalled 52-21.
Brentford have endured a tricky campaign. Numerous key players have been injured, especially from a defensive standpoint. Pinnock, Mee and Hickey have all been absent at various times. Ivan Toney had only returned in January due to obvious reasons. Rico Henry has missed the majority of the season.
Thomas Frank’s season is complete. Premier League safety is confirmed. It’s been a significant drop-off from the 22/23 season. But with everything put into perspective, it’s understandable. They can play their final two games with the pressure off their shoulders.
I think Bournemouth are the bet here. Iraola’s side are in a good place right now. The hosts are brilliant offensively. Solanke, Semenyo and Kluivert are a great trio. The Cherries will get chances against Brentford. I’m happy to back them here in their last home clash of the campaign.
- Bournemouth vs Brentford Prediction 1: Bournemouth -0.5 Asian Handicap (TRACKED BET)

Bournemouth vs Brentford Prediction 2: Solanke To Sign Off In Style
Dominic Solanke deserves all the plaudits. We’re 36 games into the Premier League campaign, and only four players have scored more goals. It’s a remarkable achievement from the former Liverpool man. Dominic scored just six goals last term. What a tremendous season the 26-year-old has had.
The proposed selection is an obvious one. Backing Bournemouth’s most impressive goal scorer seems a sensible bet. Brentford will allow chances. They’ve conceded 30 goals in their 18 away days and have managed just three clean sheets on their travels.
The goal line is set at 3.25 in this encounter. Iraola’s side is priced at 1.61 to score two goals here, which makes Solanke’s AGS price a valuable play. The Vitality Stadium will be rocking. The hosts will want to put on a show to celebrate a fine campaign. Let’s back Solanke in this one. He’s bound to stick one in the back of the net on Saturday afternoon.
- Bournemouth vs Brentford Prediction 2: Dominic Solanke AGS (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 2.10
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 4/10
Bournemouth vs Brentford Prediction 3: Corners & Kluivert The Way To Go
Bournemouth are ranked 4th across the Premier League for corners taken. Liverpool, City and Arsenal occupy the top three. The Cherries have racked up 227 corners in 23/24, 131 of which have arrived here. Iraola’s men have averaged an impressive 7.28 corners per match in front of the home support. We need them to take six on Saturday. They’ve achieved that in 15 of their 18 games this season.
The hosts have been hitting fantastic corner counts in 2024. Only Manchester City have prevented them from hitting six this calendar year. Bournemouth managed an impressive eight against Liverpool.
Bournemouth’s corner numbers in 2024 – (8,7,9,9,11,3,11,8)
Brentford’s numbers against, on their travels, are relatively strong. Frank’s men have conceded 113 corners away from home this season. That’s 6.28 on average per match. I expect them to concede a fair few here. A total of 11 of their 18 opponents have cleared this line.
Justin Kluivert has been excellent in recent weeks. The Dutchman has been firing in plenty of shots. Justin has started 15 matches since Boxing Day. He’s attempted at least two shots on 14 separate occasions. Manchester City restricted him to a single-goal attempt when they met in February.
I’d expect the forward to start again on Saturday. He’s looking really sharp and will be a menace to this Brentford side. Kluivert recorded three attempts at the Emirates last weekend. Not many players can boast that figure this season.
The bet builder is an appealing one. The success rate has been mighty high in recent weeks. Let’s hope it continues as Bournemouth look to end their season in style.

Bournemouth vs Brentford Team News and Possible Lineups: Stuttering Over The Line
Bournemouth have several absentees. Milos Kerkez is suspended. Marcus Tavernier and Luis Sinisterra are both out with injuries. It’s a strong Bournemouth squad. They’re great going forward with the likes of Semenyo, Kluivert and Solanke. Marcos Senesi has impressed in 23/24.
Brentford have suffered with injuries all season long. Aaron Hickey, Ben Mee, Rico Henry and Josh Dasilva won’t feature again until the 24/25 campaign. Ivan Toney’s time with Brentford looks to be up. How motivated will the forward be?
Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Travers; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Ouattara, Scott, Cook, Semenyo, Christie, Kluivert; Solanke
Brentford possible starting lineup:
