Rush does lead the Penguins with 13.4 PPG, but Jerrod Calhoun is a great coach who has made his programs better every year he has been here. Over the last 7 years, the Penguins have always improved their record from the previous campaigns, and last year this team won 24 games and took part in the NIT, albeit a first-round loss.

At 12- 5, the Penguins are inching closer to making their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, and a big home win here would get them that much closer to it.

I expect this game to be a race to 100 points, and I see 165 as an easy opportunity to cash a ticket after finally missing my first prediction of 2024 last night. Let’s get back in the win column with an Over from the Horizon League on Friday night.
