Let me admit I am sitting here still steaming from how that played out as I watched every minute of that game and waited to start this article hoping I would be talking about starting the week with a winner.

At least my gut told me to stay away from Kansas to have a halftime lead in the game last night, so at least that hunch was right on. Regardless, I have to pick up the pieces and find a solid bet for Tuesday night, and I have found it in Stillwater, OK.

The Cowboys welcome the Horned Frogs for a Big 12 showdown, but Oklahoma State hasn’t become aware that conference play has started yet! The Pokes are 0 – 5 in Big 12 action, and there’s only one place you can find them in the conference standings. You guessed it, they are alone in the basement of the table, and let’s be honest about it, shall we?

Oklahoma State has realistically only been competitive in one of those five Big 12 games, and they’ve been beaten down pretty well since those non-conference cupcakes were there to eat. Remember, the Cowboys entered Big 12 play with an 8 – 5 record, and after five straight losses that record doesn’t look good at all. As well as most of the Big 12 conference is playing this season, there are only two programs under the .500 mark, and the Cowboys are one of them.

As I said in last night’s game, which was a Big 12 contest, the rankings are full of teams from this conference, and although TCU isn’t on that top-25 list yet, they are still sporting a 13 – 5 record overall, and I expect them to come out guns-a-blazing on Tuesday night on the road.

I see this game working out to a 36 – 30 TCU lead at the half, and with only 2 points to cover I think we have ourselves a winner for Tuesday night, and I apologize for my missed tip last night!
