INDIANA PACERS VS DETROIT PISTONS
Sat, Nov 25. 01:10 (UK time)
Over the last five games, Cade Cunningham has registered the sixth-most potential assists per game at 14.2. While the former first overall pick has not been especially efficient, and has struggled with turnovers at times, he’s in a good spot against a woeful Pacers defence.
Indiana are the perfect team to bet overs against. They lead the league in pace and place 29th in defensive rating. They have allowed 128 or more points in each of their last five games.
This price is excellent, even with the lack of offence around Cunningham. He’s a high-usage player, and is averaging 7.3 assists per game as it is. The hit-and-miss nature of the Pistons offence is a concern with an assists prop, but we think they will score enough for Cunningham to clear this line.
MILWAUKEE BUCKS VS WASHINGTON WIZARDS
Sat, Nov 25. 01:10 (UK time)
Giannis Antetokounmpo has cleared this line in five of his last seven, including a 42 and 13 showing against these Wizards earlier in the week. He only went under this number against the Celtics and in a blowout of the Hornets, when he was limited to just 28 minutes.
Washington conceded 142 points to the Bucks a few days ago. They are dead-last in rebounding rate, and play at the second-highest pace in the league. Teams get to the rim against them at will, and only one team allows a higher field-goal percentage in the restricted area.
This is just a perfect matchup for the two-time MVP. Don’t be put off by his average of 40 across these two categories – he may well get there in points alone, but his streak of six double-digit rebounding performances in seven games certainly helps us out.
- Selection: Giannis Antetokounmpo over 43.5 points and rebounds
- Best Odds: 1.87
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stakes: 8/10
GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS SAN ANTONIO SPURS
Sat, Nov 25. 03:10 (UK time)
After a slow start to the season, Klay Thompson has begun to look more like his old self. The four-time NBA champion has put up consecutive 20-point games, and has now got up 16 or more shots in five of his last eight appearances (excluding the early ejection).
Thompson has taken a whopping 21 threes over his last two games. San Antonio is only around league average for opponent three-point rate, and places in the bottom five for corner threes allowed.
The Spurs have also lost 10 in a row. Their defence is ranked in the bottom five, and they are top five in pace. Thompson appears to have found some rhythm, and this is a great matchup to keep rolling. We’d even take the over up to 18.5.
