These teams average the most points scored per game, with Las Vegas averaging over 93 per contest and New York over 88. Their defences have often kept opponents to lower than their averages, but it is worth noting that there was 179 points scored in the first meeting between the teams this season.
In their most recent matchup, the Aces were held to only 61 points, shooting just 23-for-70 from the field. That was an anomaly for this Las Vegas offence, which leads the league in true shooting and offensive rating. They have bounced back offensively since then, scoring 104, 113 and 86 in three straight wins.
This line seems on the high side judging by league-wide trends, but these two offences are stacked with firepower. Las Vegas has three of the league’s leading scorers, while only one player averages more points per game than Stewart. There’s value backing the over here – this total could easily get towards the 200 mark.

Despite their strong overall record, the Liberty have only gone 14-16 against the spread in 2023. They have won 10 of their last 11, but they have played some relatively close games against inferior opponents.
We view the last matchup between these teams as a freak occurrence. The Aces are comfortably the Association’s best team and should demonstrate that again on Thursday night.
