Kansas Jayhawks vs Oklahoma Sooners Best Bet: Rock Chalk Jayhawk
Kansas Jayhawks vs Oklahoma Sooners Best Bet: Tuesday, January 10th
The Kansas Jayhawks will play host to the Oklahoma Sooners on Tuesday night, and our resident hoops expert Ej Garr is 5 – 0 with his Kansas calls. He’s at it again, and it looks like the total might be the strong bet of the night with a team total suggestion also being offered. Can Ej go 2 – 0 and add to his already impressive record covering the Jayhawks? We bet he can!

Kansas Jayhawks vs Oklahoma Sooners Preview
January 11, 02:00 (UK time)
ROCK, CHALK, JAYHAWK! How well do I know this Jayhawks team and Bill Self? Well, I have given out 5 plays this campaign involving Kansas matches, and all 5 have paid the bills! I splashed a 3 – 0 last Tuesday calling for their team total, the total itself, and the cover of the handicap against the Red Raiders on January 3 right here. I tell no lies!
The line setters are not toying around with us this time around, as we have a double-digit spread with the Jayhawks laying 10 to 11 points depending on your book and when you see this article. While I love what Kansas is doing this year, I am not so fond of chalk that is inflated because so much can happen on a given night that can change the outcome of a game.
I am not saying I expect any surprises here, nor do I see an upset in the making, to say the least. I do, however, expect Oklahoma to give Kansas a bit of a game tonight, so I am not about to just assume Kansas is going to wipe out the Sooners because the line setters want us to think that way.
We don’t need to bother with that line at all because I cannot believe I am staring at a 133.5 on this total. What? Kansas is not going to be held to less than 74 points at home tonight, and even if the oddsmakers are right and it’s a 10-point game, that makes this a 74 – 64 game as I see it and that’s enough to topple the number.
You can see by the rankings that Oklahoma defends the 3-ball as well as anyone in the nation (Ranked 6th), but Kansas is far from a one-dimensional team that falls in love with shooting behind the arc. Kansas is ranked inside the top 40 in both shooting and 3-point percentage offensively, and we all know that Kansas does not lose in this building.
As much as I respect the Sooner defense, I am not about to think they can slow down Kansas enough to stop them from scoring 74 points. The Jayhawks average nearly 78 points a game, but you know me and how I feel about all of the numbers. All of those stats are against other teams, and none of them are heads-up games. If they met 6 times a year, well then maybe I could listen to averages and stats from those matchups because they are against each other.
Anyway, my gut tells me it will be 74 – 64, so the Kansas team total and the Over 133.5 are your money plays from this tilt in Lawrence tonight.
