Italy vs Philippines Bet Builder Tips: Back Italy in High-Scoring Game
Italy vs Philippines BET BUILDER TIPS, OPTA STATS, PLAYER PROPS: Tuesday, AUGUST 29TH
While the Philippines lost their chance for the second round, the game still has meaning as Japan should lose tomorrow against Australia and they will still have a chance for an Asia Olympic spot. But for Italy, after a defeat against the Dominican Republic, this game is really important because they can even get out of the tournament if Angola manages to win against the Dominican Republic.
While it isn’t certain to happen, you never know.

Italy vs Phillippines Bet Builder: Italy Score With Ease
Italy over 86.5 Points
While Italy didn’t go over this line for the whole tournament (they had 81 pts against Angola and 82 against the Dominican Republic), their three-point shots just didn’t go in. Italy shot a miserable 20% for three, and that negative variation should go to the other side.
And today’s opponents are one of the worst defences in the whole tournament. The only positive defender is AJ Edu, and even he should struggle against the fact that Italy plays all 5 out. Jordan Clarkson will probably try to push the pace as much as he can, so it should create Italy some easy fastbreak opportunities.
Simone Fontecchio 2+ threes
Fontecchio got a really bad variation this tournament. Simone is attempting 7 threes per game, and he only hit two in both games. Phillippines have defensive issues with rotations, and Clarkson isn’t a good defender so Italy should be able to generate advantages that will convert into Simone threes.
Simone was a 40% three-point shooter in the Euroleague, there is no way he will continue to shoot this poorly from the three-point range.
Spissu 5+ assists
Point guards are racking up assists against the Phillippines. Andre Feliz had 8, Jean Montero had 5, Gerson Domingos had 8 and Childe Dundao had 4. Spissu is the main point guard of Italy, and he will be guarded by Jordan Clarkson.
It will open him to many drive-and-kick or pick-and-pop assists, as Clarkson isn’t a good defender. Spissu had 4 assists against the Dominican Republic and 7 against Angola, but he should had many more because Italy is shooting badly from three-point range.
