Partizan vs Barcelona: Barça Secure Another Away Win

In the 2023-24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade initially faced a daunting setback, losing 81-96 to Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in the opening round. This defeat raised concerns about the team’s ability to replicate their prior season’s success, which had seen them reach the playoffs and narrowly miss the Final Four.

However, they swiftly rebounded with a convincing 88-62 victory over ASVEL. Despite struggling with three-point shooting in the first half, the visitors built a substantial lead, dominating the match with an impressive display. Role players like Danilo Andjusic and Balsa Koprivica made vital contributions off the bench, highlighting Partizan’s depth and superior quality.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos Piraeus came agonizingly close to securing a home win in Round 2 against FC Barcelona. However, Barcelona showcased their resilience, closing the game with a spectacular 2-18 run to secure a 68-77 victory. Barcelona’s depth became evident, enabling them to prevail despite key players facing difficulties. Willy Hernangomez, who had previously excelled with a game-high 18 points, was subdued by Olympiacos.

Barcelona’s consistent success, having won 7 of their last 8 games involving both teams, positions them as strong contenders, especially in away games. This history of triumph outside their home turf underscores their competitive edge and sets the stage for another promising victory.

  • Expert Pick: Barcelona +5.5
  • Best odds: 1.50
  • Bookmaker: Betvictor
  • Stakes: 5/10

Real Madrid vs Zalgiris Kaunas: Real Keep Rolling

Real Madrid began the 2023-24 season in what looks like an effortless way, unbeaten in every competition so far, including the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Real Madrid has continued to get all factors behind them as they continue their quest for successive title glory. They started the Euroleague campaign with a narrow 77-79 win over Baskonia.

In their second game in Istanbul, Guerschon Yabusele scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Facu Campazzo posted 15 points, 10 assists, and six boards as Real Madrid crushed Anadolu Efes 103 – 80 on the road to begin the EuroLeague season with two straight wins.
Real was vastly superior for the majority of the game and had spectacular reactions each time Efes tried to dispute its dominance. The defending champions closed halftime up 41 – 55 after Efes erased a 17-point deficit and then established a steady advantage around 20 points in the third quarter.

Zalgiris Kaunas, however, are a very strong side, coming into this clash with a straight 7 game wins, including 2 wins in 2 games in the Euroleague so far. They defeated Virtus Bologna 79-82, and Crvena zvezda 79-74. However, despite the wins, they seem to be facing the greatest test so far when they travel to Spain’s capital to face Real Madrid. Real Madrid boasts 10 straight wins across all competitions coming into this clash.

Real Madrid enters this clash from a fresh 106-92 win in their domestic game over Murcia, where 7 players scored in double-digits, including Walter Tavares combining his game-high 18 points with eight rebounds and Facundo Campazzo posting a 14-point, 10-assist double-double.

However, Real Madrid is dealing with several injured players, including Rudy Fernandez (ankle), Alberto Abalde, and Carlos Alocen (knee), who did not suit up for Round 5 of Spain’s Liga Endesa Regular Season. Their availability for the upcoming clash remains uncertain, but Real Madrid’s squad depth is poised to tackle their absence and continue their impressive run.

  • Expert Pick: Real Madrid -7.5
  • Best odds: 1.50
  • Bookmaker: Betvictor
  • Stakes: 6/10

Milano vs Olympiakos: The Legend will Get an Away Win

Olympiacos Piraeus displayed an immense effort in Round 2 of the 2023-24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, nearly achieving a home victory against Barcelona. However, Barcelona seized the match with a spectacular 2-18 run in the last minutes, ultimately winning 68-77 in an intense contest.

Moustapha Fall returned to the court after missing their first Euroleague game where Olympiacos defeated Panathinaikos 88-87 AOT, contributing 4 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists against Barcelona. Meanwhile, Ignas Brazdeikis made his debut in the red-and-white jersey against Barcelona, scoring 5 points with 1 rebound. Despite Olympiacos’ notable absence of key players, including Nigel Williams-Goss, Luke Sikma, Shaquielle McKissic, and Panagiotis Tsamis, the rest of the squad remains determined to secure a crucial away victory.

On the other hand, Olimpia Milano has only played one Euroleague game this season, losing 85-82 AOT to Fenerbahce. Their second game against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv is rescheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Olimpia Milano’s recent struggles, marked by four losses in their last seven games across all competitions, are compounded by the injury of Billy Baron. Baron is set to undergo surgery on his right elbow, followed by a six-week rehabilitation period, which is scheduled for October 9. This injury setback positions Olympiacos for a favorable outcome in their upcoming clash against the Milan-based side.

  • Expert Pick: Olympiakos +6.5
  • Best odds: 1.50
  • Bookmaker: Betvictor
  • Stakes: 6/10
