TORONTO BLUE JAYS VS NY YANKEES SAME GAME PARLAY: JAYS EYEING POSTSEASON BUT…
YANKEES LOOKING TO WIN OPENING GAME OF SERIES
The New York Yankees may not be headed for the playoffs this year, while the Blue Jays are playing to remain in the wildcard picture as the MLB regular season reaches its final week. Toronto is 10 games behind Baltimore in the AL East table so there will be no chance to win the division in 2023 but a playoff berth still gives the Jays something to look forward to.
Unfortunately for my Yanks, injuries have once again riddled the organization, but they’ve managed to still play some decent baseball lately. The Yanks carry a 6 – 4 record over their last 10 games, and Michael King is slated to start this game for the Bombers on Tuesday night.
Michael King has quietly taken his starter status and earned his spot in the rotation putting up a solid outing after a solid outing. That includes his last outing in which he faced the Blue Jays on September 20. The Yankees eventually lost that game, 7 – 1, but King threw 7 innings of ball only allowing one single earned run as the bullpen eventually blew the game. Ironic that King isn’t in the bullpen to relieve his starts, HA!
Kevin Gausman is listed as the probable starter for the Jays tonight, and one thing this dude can’t seem to do is put together back-to-back quality efforts. As you see above in my stats section. Gausman seems to give the Jays a great effort and then follow it up with rubbish like it never happened, and I don’t trust him to carry this Jays team tonight at all.
If the line setters want to give me a 2.25 offer on the Yankees Moneyline, then I will not argue a bit while putting it with another plus-money offer such as the Judge prop you’re about to get next.
THE JUDGE TO HIT A MONUMENTAL BLAST
THE JUDGE! I am sorry but yes, I am a Yankees fan and Aaron Judge is pretty much God around here. I don’t need to remind anyone about last year’s home run numbers, and if he hadn’t missed time this season he would have bashed another 50+ easily!
The Captain has only 354 ABs this season, and yet he still has bashed out 35 bombs this campaign. Expect him to catch a mistake from Gausman on Tuesday night and enjoy the 3.65 odds that you are attaching to the Yankees Moneyline tonight. That will give us quite a nice boost up to 5.50 for this same-game parlay on Tuesday night. So, expect the Yankees to take out the Blue Jays to open the series and The Judge to blast a ball over the outfield wall!
