Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles Stats and Facts
- The Blue Jays were 4-0 in Ryu’s last 4 starts of the 2022 campaign.
- The Orioles hold an 0-6 record in Bradish’s last 6 starts during game 2 of a series.
- The Total Over is 7-0 in Bradish’s last 7 Tuesday starts.
Baltimore Orioles Moneyline
The Orioles improved to 65 – 41 for the campaign with their 4 – 2 win over Toronto on Monday night as the two teams began an important 4-game series that leads us to Tuesday night.
Kyle Bradish and Hyun Jin Ryu are listed as the probable starting pitchers for this contest, and as mentioned above, this is the first start of the campaign for Ryu. I pointed out some trends that supported Ryu before his elbow blew out for Tommy John surgery, but this is a different season, and the Orioles are a different baseball team in 2023.
Alone in first place in the AL East table, the Orioles have the best record in the American League, and only the Braves have a better overall record entering Tuesday’s MLB action (Atlanta is 67 – 37).
I am surprised to see the Jays favoured in this spot, not only because the Orioles have dominated this series this year, but Ryu might have five innings in him at best, and there is another concern for Toronto tonight.
Bo Bichette left Monday night’s game with a stiff knee and is questionable to play on Tuesday night. His absence is not exactly good timing should he miss any length of time beyond a day or two, so Jays’ fans certainly hope that is not as bad as it could be.
The Orioles jumped all over the Jays early on Monday night, as they banked all 4 of their runs in a 4 – 2 win before the 3rd inning was over. The Orioles’ bullpen is simply lights out this year, and games like Monday night were proof positive of that.
Felix Bautista picked up save number 29 on Monday night, and the All-Star closer is just putting up stupid numbers in 2023. Bautista has pitched 51 ⅔ innings, and he’s only allowed five earned runs while striking out over 100 batters.
Game Total Over 8.5 Runs
Kyle Bradish just got hit pretty hard against the Phillies his last time on the mound, and I posted that odd stat about Tuesday Overs with him. That is a strange thing to happen on a particular day of the week constantly, but Bradish did lose the only game that Toronto has won against Baltimore this year.
Bradish was one pitch shy of shutting out the Jays through 7 innings, as his only mistake was a home run while his offence failed to support his cause in a 3 – 1 loss on June 14. Berrios was his opponent that day, but that was then, and today is a different situation.
I still think Bradish will hold his own and pitch well. I just foresee a 6 – 4 road win for the Birds, and that 3.50 offer on this combo works nicely together.
So, the Over 8.5 runs and the Orioles Moneyline come in as the way to meet up at the bank to cash our ticket! See you there!
TORONTO BLUE JAYS VS BALTIMORE ORIOLES BET BUILDER TIPS: ORIOLES CONTINUE TO DOMINATE JAYS
The Orioles won the first game of this AL East Division clash on Monday night, 4 – 2, and the Birds improved to 6 – 1 against Toronto during the 2023 campaign.
Hyun Jin Ryu is making his season debut for the Blue Jays on Tuesday night at home, and the line setters apparently like his chances of success. Ryu is returning from Tommy John surgery, and I suspect he will be watched closely and on a pitch count to kick off the season.
