St. Louis Cardinals vs Milwaukee Brewers SAME GAME PARLAY: BREWERS WITH BROOMS IN HAND

BREWERS CHASING SWEEP OF CARDINALS

The Milwaukee Brewers added insult to injury on Wednesday night, as they not only won the second game of the series with the Cardinals but they continued to tack on late runs to make a statement! I have no freakin’ clue what the line setters are thinking in this situation because the Cardinals are listed as home favourites‽ (That’s called proper use of an interrobang, baby, HA)

I mean talk about making no sense, and I hate to think that this is some kind of trap game for Milwaukee, but that 9th run rally last night to pull away told me otherwise.

St. Louis pulled the game to 4 – 2 in the bottom of the 8th inning, but the Brewers didn’t settle for a win without bashing out 4 runs before shutting down the Cardinals bats in the 9th to win the game, 8 – 2.

I don’t know why folks get all antsy about teams going for a sweep of a series, because this is the Cardinals and they have found ways to lose games all season. These two teams almost have identical records… In the wrong order! Milwaukee brings an 86 – 67 record into this game while the Cardinals fell to 67 – 85 with Wednesday night’s loss.

The team in the basement is favoured over first-place Milwaukee tonight? I see sites still featuring 2.06 for Milwaukee Moneyline, and the total of only 8.5 will be falling to pieces with it!

EXPECT RUNS TO BE SCORED IN ST. LOUIS

Runs, they will be scored! Miles Mikolas and Wade Miley are listed as the probable starting pitchers for this contest on Thursday night, and that points me to dudes touching the plate all night!

I know it took a while to get there last night, and had it not been for that 9th inning rally the total would have been an easy under! That’s why they play 9 innings, and I don’t think we will be sweating this one out as folks dealt with last night.

Mikolas has given up 5 earned runs in both of his last two starts and now he has a Brewers offense that just scored 4 runs in their last AB of Wednesday’s win. I love momentum like that, and if the line setters want to be stupid enough to make you think that the Cardinals can win this game, you’d better think twice about that!

As I like to do, I give you my score prediction for this affair, and you can play it accordingly. Milwaukee 9 – 4 Cardinals, and a baker’s dozen of boots will dirty the dish.

Enjoy your 3.60 same-game parlay for the Brewers vs Cardinals game on Thursday night with the Brewers Moneyline and the Over 8.5 along with it!
