San Francisco Giants vs Boston Red Sox Bet Builder Tips: 4.48 Wager for Friday Night
San Francisco Giants vs Boston Red Sox Bet Builder Tips, OPTA, Stats, Player Props
The Boston Red Sox will be away from home for the next 6 days, and the first three of those days will be spent at Oracle Field for a series against the San Francisco Giants. These two teams have not met in San Francisco since the 2016 campaign, as this Interleague battle brings a playoff atmosphere to the month of July.
The Sawx and G-Men are both in the hunt for post-season bids, so this series is as important as any other that will be played throughout the rest of the regular season. For more San Francisco Giants vs Boston Red Sox tips, visit bettingexpert.

Boston Red Sox Moneyline to Win Game
The Red Sox will be on the road to play a 3-game set against the San Francisco Giants before moving on to Seattle for the continuation of the road trip. Boston arrives at Oracle Park as considerate underdogs on Friday night, and that instantly caught my attention to use as one of the two bets for tonight’s MLB bet builder.
The Red Sox just took down Atlanta on Tuesday and Wednesday night, and a day off to relax on Thursday comes in handy as well. Those pair of wins came after beating the Mets for the final two games of that 3-game set so a 4-game win streak has the Red Sox playing with confidence.
Boston may not be thinking about Baltimore and Tampa Bay in the AL East Division race yet, but let’s make no mistake that the wildcard battle in the American League is simply crazy! Boston comes into this weekend series with a record of 55 – 47, and although it’s only good enough for 4th place in the AL East division, Texas, Houston, and Toronto are the real concerns to deal with.
The AL Central division winner will probably take the only playoff position from that entire division, so most of the playoff spots will come from the East and West divisions this season.
Before we get there, Boston needs to win this game, and I believe that is exactly what they will be doing. At 2.35, that is a great value bet to use in a bet builder, and I and I am going to suggest you put it right along with this game total.
Kutter Crawford and Logan Webb appear to be the probable starting pitchers, and one thing Crawford gets is run support from the Sawx offense. (Sorry, you have to know the New England accent to get why I use the word Sawx, HA!)
Crawford didn’t fare too well against the Mets in his previous start only lasting 4 innings while surrendering two home runs, but Webb got scorched against the Nationals in his last outing as well. I would rather have the Boston offense on my side in this game than rely on the Giants offense to help me win my cash.
Game Total Over 7.5 Runs
This game is certainly going to feature more than 8 runs, and you can certainly slide the total up the straight 8 and get a better dish out for the bet builder. At 4.48 though, that is so fair to me and I don’t think we will have to sweat a damn bit.
Crawford and Webb are not even going to be close to the pitcher’s mound when the 6th inning arrives, and the runners are still just going to be hitting the plate all night long. I honestly see this as a 7 – 4 type of game with double-digit runs being scored, so feel free to smash the total on its own if you don’t use the 7.5 in the MLB bet builder.
Pinnacle and Bet365 are both showing 1.91 odds for the Over 7.5 and using that 2.35 Boston Moneyline with the total gives us a great return on our investment.
