Well, you know me by now, and when I miss a tip as badly as things went down on Monday night, I aim to make sure we simply get past it and put another winning tip on the board, So with that said, I apologize for the loss and now we get it back.

A pair of southpaws are expected to face off for this Tuesday night affair by the bay, and if matters get much worse for Oakland they should be relegated to the college level! I know you footballers out there get the sarcasm about seeing a team be rubbish that they don’t deserve to be a top-tier outfit and the As are just junking up the field this campaign.

As I am writing this article late Monday night here in New York, it is a 5 – 1 game with Arizona holding the lead in the bottom of the 5th inning. They just blew a bases-loaded opportunity to really open the game up in the top half of the frame, and I will go on the limb to say that Oakland will not likely be mustering any kind of comeback to win this game.

The As have one hit going into the bottom of the 5th inning right now, and it is pretty tough to win baseball games when you can’t even get a 2-hit rally going in any inning.

The real reason I turned to this game to preview is the favourable pitching matchup that surely supports a play on the Arizona Team Total. William Hill is showing a 2.04 offer on the D’Backs TT Over 5 and I am not shying away from it because of the discrepancy between Kyle Muller and Tommy Henry.

The As might struggle to hit Tommy Henry, who is listed as the probable pitcher for the Diamondbacks tonight. Henry is just starting to get his legs under him this being his fifth start of the season after missing most of April. His ERA of 4.43 is a little misleading because he has actually pitched better with every start he’s made.

Despite Henry’s last effort against the Giants ending with the L, he went 6 ⅔ and only allowed 2 earned runs, he just got no run support in a quality start.

Now, let’s talk about Kyle Muller because he can certainly be held accountable for some of the Oakland pitching woes in 2023. Muller is sporting an ugly 7.34 ERA and in three of his last 6 starts, he has surrendered 6 ER as the As saw their opponents splurge with double-digit runs crossing the plate.
