Milwaukee Brewers vs Colorado Rockies Run Total Best Bet: Ashby to Continue Subpar Streak
Milwaukee Brewers vs Colorado Rockies Best Bet: Monday, July 25th
The Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies started their 4-game series on Friday and our resident baseball expert Ej Garr bashed that total to finish the week. Ej is on an 8 – 2 – 2 run with his regular season bets posted and he is going to start the week where we left off last week in Milwaukee. The total has flown Over for all 3 games in this series thus far, and there is no reason to shy away from the expectations of more scoring on Monday night.

Milwaukee Brewers vs Colorado Rockies Preview
July 26, 01:10 (UK time)
Welcome back to a new week and how nice it is to be a loyal reader of my articles here at bettingexpert.com. Over my last 12 regular season posts, you have lost only 2 bets carrying an 8 – 2 – 2 record into this week, and I know you enjoyed my perfect 2 – 0 last week.
If I am being honest, I have cashed all three of the totals between these two teams this weekend and while I was watching yesterday’s game they mentioned who was starting this Monday affair.
I spat up my iced tea and laughed so hard that I almost thought it was too good to be true. Hey, when betting on sports becomes easy please bottle it and save the moment because the bookmakers don’t like when we keep winning like we have been doing.
Now, we got away with our Friday play because they went into extra innings tied at 3 – 3 and we needed more work to be done which they provided. I called for a 6 – 4 Milwaukee win and they came back in the bottom of the 10th to win 6 – 5 so that worked out just swell.
On Saturday, the total was bumped up to 8.5 even though Brandon Woodruff and Jose Urena were the Game 2 starters of this 4-game set. The Brewers came away with a 9 – 4 win and rolled into Sunday looking for a third win over the Rockies who have struggled mightily on the road this campaign. I think both teams are still hitting the ball even though the game ended like an hour ago as the Brewers and Rockies bashed out 19 runs on Sunday.
The Brewers will be chasing a 4-game sweep of the Rockies on Monday and can you smell what Ej is cooking? This total was 8.5 when I went to look it up, and William Hill posted the earliest line I saw at 1.85. Now, I don’t know if that line will survive after you all get your hands on this tip because this total is going to fly over and if they move it to 9, yeah, so? What are you scared of a 9 between these two right now?
I mentioned my reaction to the expected starting pitchers tonight and they posted during the game that Kyle Freeland and Aaron Ashby will be hurling the final game of the series. Speaking of hurling… ahh, you know what, let’s not get you all grossed out and get to the nuts and bolts of why we’re cashing this total tonight in Milwaukee.
Kyle Freeland (4 – 7; 4.96 ERA) has given up at least one home run in seven of his last nine starts, and he has given up 111 hits in only 101 IP. Combine that with the 32 walks and the long ball issues and we have ourselves a situation!
Aaron Ashby (2 – 7; 4.57 ERA) is his own kind of a mess, and we don’t even want to talk about that last effort against the Giants, do we? He managed to last just one whole inning and ended up coming out of the game after only 22 pitches allowing 2 earned runs on top of all of his issues with the long ball. Ashby hasn’t pitched in 8 days, and someone may think he used the break to get into a better zone, but I see it otherwise.
Ashby got bashed hard in June and he got hit hard again in his first start of July against the Pirates. In his start against Minnesota, he threw only 4⅓ innings but accumulated 101 pitches and had to be lifted early.
I have zero faith in either starter to hold these offenses in check and an 8.5 on this total is hysterical. If the line does move to 9 just play it and take what you can get because the runs, they are a comin’!
Milwaukee Brewers vs Colorado Rockies Best Bet
Is my 8 – 7 score prediction out of the realm? Yeah, you know it should fall about there as 14 dudes might cross home plate when it’s 7 – 7 in the 7th inning and we are only asking for 9 of those runs to cash a ticket. I see 8.5 as it stands at 1.87 when I am submitting this piece, so I hope it stays there when this goes up in the morning. Enjoy your morning tea and fancy a wager on this total to topple the number.
