Houston Astros vs New York Yankees Game 2 Best Bet: Astros Favoured to Take Game 2
Houston Astros vs New York Yankees Game 2 Best Bet: Thursday, October 20th
The Astros came away with a big Game 1 win over the New York Yankees on Wednesday night, 4 – 2, and they’ll be looking to take control of the ALCS as favourites to win Game 2. One team is playing confidently, and the line setters expect another win for the home side. Can the Yankees respond and level the series, or will the Stros take a commanding 2 – 0 lead back to New York?

Well, you know I didn’t miss a pitch of Game 1 and the Stros are favoured to get past the Yankees again on Thursday night. I totally get why the line setters point their allegiance to Houston, and if you saw Game 1 you know just as well as I do.
Hey, being a Yankee fan doesn’t help me win baseball bets, nor can I even remotely have a lick of confidence in the Yankees right now either. Justin Verlander is obviously on another level than the rest of the American League, and he will win the Cy Young award when the announcement comes later next week.
Verlander struck out 11 Yankees and the Astros bullpen came in for 3 innings and struck out 6 more. That’s 17 if you need help with any math, and the Astros only stuck out twice as a team all night. I don‘t know what planet you live on or how much baseball you watch, but when a team strikes out 17 times, the odds of finding a win go way down. I am amazed it was a 2-run game in the 8th inning because of how bad the Yankee lineup looked all night.
I’m just wild about Harry! Harrison Bader did it again, and now he is the Yankees’ offence right now. I am a Yankee fan and you know this from reading my articles. Um, three people need to take off their damn jerseys and get on a plane so they can go the hell home and stop playing baseball! Yeah, Ej is rather mad at the fact that Matt Carpenter, Josh Donaldson, and Clarke Schmidt are allowed to take the field in any capacity.
Giancarlo Stanton playing left field is such a liability I can’t even start to tell that tale, and then we have the catching situation. Holy ineptitude, Batman! If you have any confidence in anything you see you are watching an entirely different game than I am. Being a fan, and watching garbage doesn’t make me happy, and as thrilled as I was to get here I would rather see Cleveland here right now.
Framber Valdez and Luis Severino are expected to take the mound for Game 2, and that doesn’t give me any more hope to win being a Yankee fan. As a tipster, I see this team as a mess, and Houston is so well put together and in form in every facet of the game.
The Houston bullpen is ridiculously sound, as they have held a lead into the 8th inning 57 times this season and have come away with 56 wins on those occasions. Jeremy Pena is seeing beach balls, and the rookie sure has made everyone forget about Correia with ease. The rookie went 3 for 4 with two doubles and a blast that made Game 1 a 4 – 1 affair. He took a Frankie Montas pitch into the left-field stands and his confidence is gleaming throughout that Astros dugout.
Notice, the bat of Jose Altuve has been perfectly silent, but it doesn’t stop the Astros from having a deep lineup that can still produce runs. Houston is 1 – 7 in Houston in the post-season, and it’s about to become an obnoxious 1 – 8!
Houston Astros vs New York Yankees Best Bet
I see the Runline as the option to fade the Yankees until the cows come home. The first reason is that the Yankee bats are ice cold and Houston just wins at home. Oh, the line at 2.50 is right up my alley too, so good luck!
