Cincinnati Reds vs Milwaukee Brewers Best Bet: Reds Chasing 6th Straight Win
CINCINNATI REDS VS MILWAUKEE BREWERS BEST BET: FRIDAY, JUNE 2nd
The Cincinnati Reds will play host to the Milwaukee Brewers for the next four days, as this NL Central Division battle will play out at Great American Ball Park. The Reds will be out to expand their 5-game win streak at home but the line setters aren’t giving them much of a chance to win this game on Friday evening in Ohio.
Our resident baseball expert Ej Garr is never afraid to bark at those underdogs so let’s see what he has to say about the situation.

Cincinnati Reds vs Milwaukee Brewers Preview
June 2, 22:10 (UK time)
There is one reason why I chose this game to find the best bet for Friday, and all it took was an extremely nice offer from the line setters to get me there. You all have been around me for two seasons now, and I am never one to shy away from a big offer, nor do I fear fading favourites.
Brandon Williamson is expected to make the start for the Reds on the mound, and one thing the Reds have done when he takes the bump is win their games. Despite only pitching in three games this campaign, the Reds are 3 – 0 but Williamson still has plenty to prove. Only once has he made it past the 5th inning, and his 5.02 ERA might not give too many folks the confidence to slap some cash on the Reds tonight and I get it!
Corbin Burnes is the expected starter for the Brew Crew tonight, and sure, the natural edge goes to him in this spot. Burnes has been consistently producing quality starts, so you must think I am nuts for fading him in this spot! The problem is that Milwaukee is 1 – 4 over Burnes’ last 5 starts and they’ve lost 3 games in a row on the day he gets his starts.
On paper, Burnes may hold an edge over Williamson but the Milwaukee bats have completely disappeared and that is the greater concern. The Brewers are 1 – 5 over their last six games against a lefty, and they are 4 – 11 over the last 15 road games. while also having lost their last 5 games to open a series.
Over their last 10 games, the Brewers are averaging 2.8 runs per game, and the way the Reds’ offense looks coming into this series I cannot whole-heartedly suggest that anyone should drink all of that juice on Milwaukee.
Cincinnati is listed at 2.60 underdogs at home on Friday, and I am more than ecstatic to see such a line on the team that is playing great baseball at the moment. When a team is hot you ride them out until it cools off so that is exactly what I am doing.
