Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays Run Total Best Bet: A Camden Park Special
Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays Best Bet: Tuesday, September 6
We’re headed to Baltimore for the Tuesday total of the day, as the Blue Jays and Orioles square off after playing a doubleheader on Monday. Toronto swept the twin bill and they are now trailing Tampa Bay by only a half-game toward wildcard positioning while the Orioles fell further out of the chase for the post-season.

Well, the Judge had to wait until the 6th inning to hit his 54th home run of the campaign, and it cost me a play which I was certainly not happy about on Monday night. So, I will stay in the American League East Division and take us to Kiddie Park, Maryland.
You know it as Camden Yards but I have called this place a kiddie park for years because it is such a hitters’ park, especially in the summer. So, after seeing game 1 of yesterday’s doubleheader on the MLB Network between these two teams, it was simply amazing watching the Jays’ offense go to town as they did in the 9th inning.
Toronto maintained a 4 – 3 lead in game 1 going to the 9th inning, and then the top of the Jays’ order went bonkers. The Jays bashed out 3 runs to earn a 7 – 3 win in game 1 and the offense picked up right where it left off to begin game 2. Toronto scored 3 times in the 3rd inning and put up a 4-spot in the 6th inning and one guy had himself quite a game in the second contest.
Not 1, not 2, but Bo Bichette blasted a trio of homers in the 8 – 3 win that featured the Jays scoring a combined 15 runs for the day in this fun park to hit a baseball!
Toronto is now only trailing the Rays in the AL East by a half-game and the Rays are just 5 games in back of the 1st place Yankees. The wildcard chase is going to be one hell of a finish with Tampa, Toronto, and Seattle starting to pull away from the other contenders in the American League.
Baltimore and Boston are falling back of the pack and that AL Central race is going to come down to the last pitch of the season!
All right, well as par for my course, I am pointing us to this total to hop over the 8.5 tonight, hoping some of yesterday’s scoring carries over into tonight. I know the weather may be a concern, but the two starting pitchers we’re expecting have me brimming with confidence again. No, not me!
Mitch White (0 – 3; 7.04 ERA) is opposing Kyle Bradish (3 – 5; 5.17 ERA) and if you follow baseball you already get my drift as to why we’re going Over in this spot, right?
Do you need me to go over White’s last two starts against the Angels and the Cubs? Hi, I said the Angels and Cubs offenses, and boy, did they both get to White early and often as he allowed a combined 13 earned runs against two of the worst offenses in baseball. I barely trust White to get into and past the 5th inning anymore, and Bradish just gave up 3 earned runs to this Jays team here in kiddie park on August 9th.

I see no less than the classic 5 – 4 game. We’ll need to cash the ticket on the Over 8.5. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the line setters left us a semblance of value at 1.91 for the action.
