BALTIMORE ORIOLES VS ST. LOUIS CARDINALS SAME-GAME PARLAY, STATS, PLAYER PROPS

The Baltimore Orioles will play host to the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night, and Ej has his eyes on a same-game parlay with odds at 3.00. Adam Wainwright and John Means will be taking the mound at Oriole Park, and that sets up both offenses for a big night so with a total and a side combined, let’s cash a Tuesday night ticket!

Baltimore Orioles vs St. Louis Cardinals SAME GAME PARLAY: TWO BIRDS WITH ONE PARLAY

BALTIMORE ORIOLES CRUISING TO AL EAST TITLE

The Orioles smashed the Cardinals to bits on Monday night, and I have similar expectations for this Tuesday night affair at Camden Yards. The home team smashed out 11 runs last night to keep their momentum going, and taking advantage of a bad Cardinals squad in town can only help matters for the Orioles.

John Means is finally getting back to the diamond after missing all of 2023 due to Tommy John surgery, while he also was dealing with a bad back to boot. While I trust him none to last longer than 3 innings on Tuesday night, the Orioles offense should be able to find him plenty of support with Adam Wainwright on the bump for St. Louis.

The last time Wainwright took the mound he was seen giving up 4 home runs to the Atlanta Braves, along with 3 walks and 8 hits that led to 6 earned runs. Wainwright hasn’t notched a win since June 17 against the Mets, which means he has gone 11 straight starts without helping the Cardinals win a baseball game. We all know that this is a year that everyone in St. Louis is dying to get over with, and next year simply can’t get here fast enough.

Meanwhile, the Orioles have a 3-game lead in the AL Division race over the Rays, and despite Means making his first start of 2023 he has an offense behind him that should prove to be the difference in this game.

Despite the marginal juice on the Orioles to just win this game, I find that if we combine it with the total we can, at least, lessen the vig and still cash a reasonable ticket on Tuesday night.

EXPECT PLENTY OF RUN SUPPORT ON TUESDAY NIGHT

Wainwright and Means on the same pitching mound should have both offenses dying to get on the field this Tuesday night. I expect us to have a 6 – 5 game in the books before we even arrive to the 7th inning, so if you have to play this total on it’s own that is okay too.

If you take notice, the straight total is only 10, and Bet365 is showing 1.87 value for that on its own, so that would have been my main play for this affair.

Since the Cardinals are a complete mess this year and the fact that laying multiple runs can still be a tough proposition to make, I just assume to leave the Orioles moneyline with the total to reach 3.00 odds for this Tuesday night same-game parlay.
