Baltimore Orioles vs Cincinnati Reds Best Bet: Monday, June 26th
Our resident baseball expert Ej Garr bashed out a 2.71 offer for our readers the last time he stepped to the plate, so what could he have in mind for Monday’s best bet? As only he can, Ej is pushing the oddsmaker’s limit again, so you might want to tune in all week to keep your baseball ROI in order!

I hope you enjoyed Thursday’s best bet and what a way to have it come in for us, right? Down 4 – 1, the bottom of the 8th inning and we need to cover a -1.5? How about 5 runs from the Marlins in the bottom of the frame to help us cash a lovely 2.71 ticket?
So, as only I can, I am out to search for a lovely line to start our baseball week and I believe I have found the gem of the day. It hit me as soon as I opened the schedule and saw the pitching matchup for the Orioles vs Reds tonight.
Runs? Are you a fan of high-scoring games and runs in droves? Well, buckle up, Sunshine, because this is likely going to be one of those affairs in Baltimore with the Reds in town for the first of a 3-game Interleague set of matches. Both teams will have off on Thursday before they begin their next series, in case you would like to know.
Let’s talk about the pitching matchup for Monday night at Oriole Park because I do declare that we have ourselves a favourable situation to expect some early runs being scored. I saw the main total open at 9.5, but that doesn’t hold enough value for us around here. I thought about the 1st 5-inning total but the Over 5.5 is at best even money from what I can see, and that offer does nothing for me either.
Cole Irvin and Brandon Williamson are those expected starting pitchers I mentioned that we need to discuss, and om, my, goodness! Do we have some stuff to talk about, or what?
Shall I start with Irvin? I still don’t even get why Irvin was brought in to pitch the 8th inning in a game the Orioles were losing 6 – 2 to the Rays. Oh, and did you notice the prop bet of the night? On top of the main bet you will be getting tonight, you have got to get to William Hill and play the Under 16.5 Outs Recorded for Cole Irvin. They offer the best line I can find at the moment which is 1.91, and that is a decently priced prop bet to tag for this match.
While Irvin’s ERA is at 7.71, Williamson is sporting a 5.45 earned run average, so either of these two could get lit up at any moment. Williamson has allowed six home runs over his last four outings, and ironically both pitchers are making their eighth start of the campaign on Monday. They have each had to battle injury issues to stay in the rotation, but I am glad they are both there today.
The weather in Baltimore is also set to be another hot, humid day, and that makes this park that much smaller than it already is. There will be at least 15 runs in this game tonight make no mistake about it. But here is the gem of the night. Why don’t we get paid before six outs are even recorded? Sound good!? I knew I liked you for a reason!

The scoring will start early and it won’t stop before it is 2 – 2 going to the second inning. Each team will score not only once, but twice, and I don’t know what planet you live on but I see 4.10 odds on the Over 2 in the 1st Inning. The Over 1.5 1st inning total is up at 2.94 if you are a Marathon user, and that too shapes up to be a fantastic bet to make, and it’s full of value!
So, if you can find the 1st Inning Total over 2, beat it with a bat! If you have to settle for the Over 1.5 at 2.94, you’re still welcome! I hope you read this through to find the other ideas I threw at you for this game! You never know what I will find to aid the cause!
