The Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks each had Thursday off to travel to the desert to begin this 3-game Interleague series on Friday night The Orioles will be away from home for the next 10 days as they battle with the Tampa Bay Rays for supremacy in the AL East Division,

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS VS BALTIMORE ORIOLES SAME GAME PARLAY: BIRDS PREPARED TO CHARM THE SNAKES

ORIOLES LOOKING TO TAKE CONTROL OF AL EAST DIVISION

The Orioles will be on the road for the next 10 days, and we can only assume they are looking forward to the trip as they battle the Rays for the AL East Division title. Baltimore will play Arizona for 3 games before moving on to Los Angeles to play the Angels for a 3-game series and after another day off next Thursday, Baltimore will head all the way to Bean Town to take on the Red Sox for a big 3-game set.

Baltimore has won 2 out of 3 games in their last 4 series, and Cole Irvin is listed as the probable starting pitcher to open this series in Arizona. Irvin has made 11 starts and 19 appearances this campaign, and all he has to show for it is a 1 – 3 record with an ERA of 4.78.

Irvin might not have numbers moving in the right direction when it comes to picking up wins, but the Orioles seem to support his cause enough to win his last 5 starts.

Zach Davies is listed as the probable starter for the Diamondbacks on Friday night, and his season has been filled with ups and downs. Davies was being talked about when Cy Young’s name was mentioned early in the season, but all of that chatter has been put to rest.

Davies hasn’t won a game over his last 8 starts, and he is still likely losing sleep over the outing against Atlanta recently, The Braves jacked up Davies for 9 earned runs, and they knocked him out of the game before the 4th inning was over. Davies looked much better in his most recent start against the Reds, but I don’t trust him to navigate the Orioles lineup more than two times.

I predict that Davies will go 4 ⅔ innings before he gives up 6 runs to the Orioles, so you should consider the 1st 5-inning Over at 5. I see 1.87 or so for that offer, and if it moves to 5.5 who cares?! Eat that breakfast and then put in this 4.50 SGP with the Orioles’ -1.5 Runline and the Over 10.5.

Both of those plays are listed with plus-money value, and that gives us a boost that you know only the Mayor of Value City can offer!

ORIOLES OFFENSE SET TO MELT DOWN ZACH DAVIES

Just watch it happen and laugh your way to the bank. It is the runs that will cross the plate early and often in this game. I honestly don’t trust Irvin or Davies to put up any type of quality start here, and that just has me expecting runs in droves.

We will see an inning with 5 or more runs scored, and we will keep seeing dudes touch the dish as the innings go by!

A 10.5 number might seem high, especially since the main total is listed at 9.5, and not 10.5 as I have in this spot. You can envision me sitting here watching the game yelling Feed Me, Seymour as the tally keeps climbing!
