Georgia Bulldogs vs TCU Horned Frogs Best Bet: A Championship in the Balance
Georgia Bulldogs vs TCU Horned Frogs Best Bet: Monday, January 9th
The NCAA college football Championship Game has finally arrived, and our resident expert Ej Garr has unveiled a 7 – 3 record through bowl season. With one more game to decide which team hoists the hardware, the Georgia Bulldogs are chasing a second straight title while TCU has other ideas in mind.
The line setters have clearly set the Bulldogs as the favourites for this title game, placing a -12.5 handicap on the defending champs to repeat. If there is one thing Ej loves it’s a live underdog waiting to pull an upset, so what will he predict to win the final game of the 2022-23 campaign?

ONE MORE TIME!! What a campaign it’s been and I hope you have enjoyed my 7 – 3 record through bowl season thus far. After missing my first two offers I am now 7 – 1 with my last 8 predictions and both of the CFP Semifinal games were covered right here for you.
So, while all that is great, it is time to make the big call that everyone remembers you for because being able to call the big games is what sets tipsters apart from the next. Let me tell you that when the line opened at -13 towards Georgia, I ran to my book and grabbed the -14 at 1.80 before the juice started to shift in the other direction. I knew the line would not stay at -13, and I expect it to be closer to -11.5 when the game kicks off on Monday night.
As you have seen me say, I guarantee that every TCU practice and chalkboard in the locker room reads GEORGIA -13! Whether the line moves or not that was the original disrespect the Horned Frogs got, and now they plan on creating an upset for the ages.
Repeating as champions in college football is no easy task, and the last time it happened was back in 2011 & 2012 when Alabama pulled off the feat. Nebraska was previously the last team to repeat back in the 1994-95 campaign, making them the only teams to win back-to-back titles since the 1970s.
With that said, all eyes are on the two featured QBs as Max Duggan and Stetson Bennett each have the confidence and the ability to get the job done. I mentioned in my semifinal preview that Stetson is more of a game manager than a guy who will take a game into his own hands. Keep in mind that Bennett has produced only one game this season with more than 25 completions, and that was against a MAC Kent State program that shouldn’t even be on the field with Georgia, to begin with.
Regardless, having a stellar defense makes it easier to manage your offense, but we have seen Georgia look mighty susceptible lately. LSU made the Georgia defense look pretty bad at times during the SEC title game, and the 41 points to Ohio State in the semifinal didn’t come as any surprise either.
This total at 62.5 is absolutely hysterical in my opinion, and as much as I would love to bark with the dogs and put TCU outright Moneyline on the board, I will digress. I certainly think they will cover the number with ease, so you should surely take TCU and the +12.5 or -13 depending on your bookmaker and when you get your action on the board.
