The Dallas Cowboys (10-4) simply could not get it going in New York last week, falling 31-10 to the Buffalo Bills and now having to travel down to Florida for a match-up with the Bills’ divisional rival the Miami Dolphins (10-4).
The rumours of Dallas being a flat track bully might be true, as they fell to 0-3 on the road against sides with a winning record this year, whilst they are a perfect 7-0 at AT&T Stadium.
The Fins had their own New York escapade, demolishing the Jets 30-0 while barely breaking a sweat and without wide-receiver Tyreek Hill. Miami led 24-0 at the half, and were led on the ground by running-back Raheem Mostert, who is having a career year.
The 31-year-old ran in for his 19th and 20th touchdowns in last Sunday’s game, meaning no player has scored more TDs than he has this year.
Dallas struggled mightily against the run last weekend, allowing Buffalo to rack up 266 rushing yards at over five yards per carry led by James Cook’s career-high 179 yards and only his second touchdown of the season.
His was one of three rushing touchdowns the Bills scored last weekend to make it that six of the last nine offensive scores the Cowboys have allowed have been on the ground – so I wouldn’t be surprised if De’Von Achane (2.70) found the endzone on Sunday night either.

They would need to lose each of their next two, with Buffalo winning both of their next two for that scenario to play out so Dolphins are still heavy favourites to win the division at 1.40.
